Trade Ryan Anderson plus others for Rubio and Towns???? Rubio will be the Drexler to Towns' Olajuwon.
Dmo will keep the scoreboard moving once they get a nice lead. He;ll minimize the chances of the other team coming back. Better defender than Nene and Ryno also.
Same can be said literally about any player in the world. Harden didn't save us last year, LeBron didn't save us last year, Michael no B Jordan didn't save us last year. See? It's easy. And unlike LeBron or Jordan, DMo DID save us the year before.
Trust me I can handle your Trump-DaDakota "build a wall/sign DMo" idea. ..as comedy...for now. Hell, I don't even have you on the new & improved ignore despite the infinite loop of your responses. But you're right, it's an 82 game season. it might get grating after awhile. I guess... Yule c Probably about the time in January when the 256th person laughs at you for claiming that the future backup C for Zalgaris Kaunas is John Salley with a 3 point shot.
BJ's a genius DMo: I'll sign the offer now. I just want to play. BJ: Nah, fam. Wait until after the first game. We'll get our money. Price for DMo just went up 4 fold lol
Monday night just wasn't enough. Rockets had to lose tonight too. Winning all game till end of the 4th. Sick of BS with this city. We are the biggest joke of a city regarding sports. All we do is take embarrassing losses.
What they should have done was play Wiltjer more. He looks to be the best 3 pt. shooter on the team. Or he will be soon.
DMo is good at positional defense, rotations and boxing out. Those are his strengths defensively. Sign him, start him and put Rhyno on the bench as super 6th man. he can come in and chuck as many shots against other teams 2nd units.
Only thing D-Mo solves is potentially putting Ryno back on the bench in a role best suited for him, and gives a better team defender who rotates well. He is incredibly terrible at rebounding, and fouls at an insane rate. Also he's got great post moves, but is still terrible at sealing off his man, and creating space for the guard/wing to dump the ball down to him. He's gotta get better at that to be effective in the post consistently. My hope though is that he can get a KJ (2016) type of contract that gives him back to the Rockets at a good rate for 3 years so he has multiple years to make an impact. This year he solves some issues potentially, but its got to be a multi year investment IMO for anything to pay off. The Rockets aren't a contending team obviously, and at the end of the day he's got to be an ASSET to the team long term.
I agree we need another defensive center, would love to trade for Tyson Chandler. While Pablo did fight the dinosaurs, I don't seem him being anymore effective than Ennis.
