Fun fact, there were a lot of guys saying "**** Horford at 26.5x...Anderson at 20x is better"...lmao...
Yup, meanwhile I was saying about the Ryan Anderson contract..... "This type of contract is why the NBA added an amnesty a few years back it's too bad they won't be adding another any time soon."
After watching how bad defensively Ryan Anderson is, it makes me wonder what will LaMarcus Aldridge do to Ryan Anderson the 4 times they will play each other this year?
Yep. It really hurts we were not able to sign Horford and Bazemore (since it would've made Ariza expendable).
He was always an average or below average rebounder but had couple of decent seasons... he is boxing out to the 3 pt line too much
Grow up guys. Anderson is a poor defender and average rebounder who is a great 3pt shooter and has average post moves and mid range shots to counter. Please don't start whining 1 game into the season about him doing exactly what he is expected to do.
Two things: 1. He's not a 'great' three point shooter. He's a streaky/solid three point shooter. His averages aren't elite by any stretch. 2. $90 million dollars.
LMA, Griffin, Davis, ZBo, Dirk, Draymond, Favors. Anderson is going to be the gift that keeps giving.
Ryan Anderson use to murder the Rockets. Certain players can play against certain teams. Is he worth 80? No but when u have scrubs making 15 mill a year. I see why his market was 20. This team is going to lack rebounding and post ups. We knew that going in.
I was going to say Pop might be resting Aldridge when we get to play Spurs, but it turns out we play Spurs twice in November, once in December and early March, so not likely On the other hand, we're not supposed to worry about defense this year, remember? As long 3 is more than 2, we don't need to defend LMA, we just need to hit our 3s.
1. 37.7% of 2,600 3 point attempts from a PF is elite. He is not more or less streaky than 99% of people taking as many attempts. 2. We knew what we were signing. You might as well be complaining that Coke has fizz in it after buying one voluntarily. It is irrational for you to be complaining about this, especially after ONE game. ONE GAME. You never liked this signing, that's the only story here, and you need to air that idea. Awesome. However, this is what we signed, and we know what we're going to get, and it's not going to be defined by one game, and him doing what he's done his whole career doesn't make you wrong or right.
Yes. Unfortunately Dwight and Asik were two of the best rebounders out there and we had them. Now I am not so sure. Capela surely is above average but he has ways to go.
He is the ideal guy off the bench as a role player / 6th man playing about 25 minutes a night mostly against other back ups at $12 million per year. Now he is trust into a starting role and looks out of place esp defensively
This guy can't really do anything besides shoot open jumpers. Gordon was a great pickup, not sure about this one
$20 million isn't what it used to be with this salary cap explosion. Most people on here are missing the context
