I didn't look that far ahead but that is silly. I guess it means that we'll have a big home stretch somewhere down the line but that is a brutal start.

McDaniels is the only positive for me tonight. Shockingly (sarcasm) we looked all sorts of out classed talent wise. I've lost count of how many times I've said its not enough. Signing gordon was great and he is the type of player we need. But it's still not enough. Look at almost every other team and they have a variety of guys who can handle the ball a bit, create their own shot, make the pass or slash to the rim. Ian Clark would be our third best player offensively and he's at the END OF THE BENCH for the dubs. It's beyond ridiculous, Morey has done a very poor job since howard signed here.

Ariza is a dinosaur and he can't shoot anymore. I didn't like the signing when it happened and I still don't like it now because he literally isn't worth a damn on offense. I could go on and on about the same **** with this roster but morey can't see what's right in front of him (and some fans on here too). Our roster is in the bottom 7-8 talent wise.

The other thing that defies logic is how, through apparently getting harden 'more help' he now has a larger burden than EVER BEFORE. How is that possible? No ball handlers, no shot creators. Ground into the court every night just to keep his team in it, gives it his all. Absolutely gassed. Absolutely disgraceful.

 

Already wasn't excited for basketball this year because of Durant going to the Warriors.

Then the Rockets lose to the Lakers, sigh.

 

This was to eeeeerly as the same as last season. Once the Lakers started to go after Harden and force others to beat us we folded . Gordon, Anderson and Ariza were putrid in the second half. Ennis was a total momentum killer and Capella fumbling those pick and roll passes in the last was just giving the Lakers the ball back.Ryan Anderson must bounce back.

They need to start grooming Harrell as their enforcer. He should get the exact amount of minutes he received in preseason.

IDK, Golden St, Spurs and other top teams would have beat a young Lakers team to a pulp first game out the gate. These are the team's that the Rockets are trying to compete with.

 

Rockets cannot win against YI less Lakers.
