You think that because Mark Jackson said it.

First, there isn't much about 7 seconds or Less that is actually Motion Offense. It's an attack offense. There isn't enough time for motion.
Second, calling everything out high that includes a pick for a dribbler a PnR is pretty lazy analysis by Jackson.
Third, I look forward to breaking down Jackson's claim after review of the video. He's not correct.

Here we go. Harden doesn't play D"Antoni's offense, since the backup PG plays differently. Is that our take-away.

    Gonna recap on this:

Harden: simply amazing, nice to see him being in good shape from the get go.
KJ: great game, but got robbed on the minutes, anything and everything that was Brewers should have went to KJ.
Capela: he needs to learn to shoot free throw at least at semi decent rate, otherwise he can't stay in the late game situations, he also got the ball stripped too many times, though those TO's got accredited to Harden, somewhat.
Gordon: good game, like what i saw, could whine less and sometimes look more for his team mates.
Ariza: did the dude aged so much or what, his O was bad as usual, but he can't defend much either anymore, lack of lateral quickness can be seen by eye.
Anderson: takes too many shots way behind the line, can't defend and can't rebound to save his life which we knew before, which is still frustrating one way or another, the dude is barely worth 10mil, and his current contract is a joke, everyone was making fun of Mosgov contract....
Nene: for what his getting paid for, did enough, i can't hate him, injuries and age has taken tool on his, he shouldint be playing more than 15 mins tops, so its not his fault we're tin at the front-court
Brewer: i don't know what and how he does it, to play that many if any minutes.
Dekker: very slow, and has too much bulk, needs to loose some weight and start hittin' that corner 3 to be at least relevant.
Ennis: brutal offensively, dosent even look for his shot , had some nice passes, but in this day and age, his not gonna crave even 3rd string position if he cant shoot to save his life.

Overall: this is exactly what we gonna see more often, because when we have Anderson and Nene late in the game we have 0 rim protection, and until Capela learns to shoot free throws (which is ain't happening any time soon), we will get torched, i have no idea how Morey for all his analytics didn't see it coming, so jokes on him. And if anyone thinks DMO will save Rockets they're in for big surprise, dude ain't gonna cover much either, he was ok near Dwight, because let's just face it, even at his worse days he was still rebounded and rim protector. Opponent teams gonna have 0 respek for our front court and gonna attack it relentlessly . They would have had more success signing 2 defensive bigs with little to no O instead getting Anderson and Nene.

Yea we probably win this game with Bev.

I'm still very troubled by our overall lack of talent and athleticism. I don't see a clear path to upgrading our team. We are capped out, we don't have attractive trade pieces, and our young guys haven't showed anything. How are we supposed to get any better?

Harden is amazing and we are lucky to have him but I wonder if a Kyle Lowry-like body transformation would be better for him given his responsibilities. He definitely gets gassed out there.

In Harden's MVP* year he had scrappy ass players. Tariq Black, Joey Dorsey, DMo*, Josh Smith, Bev, Trevor, Papa, those guys would do all that crazy dirty work no one else would do. Harden needs energy players that will up his energy. He needs to play alongside crazy!

Montrezl Harrell needs to play, not because he is better than anyone on the team, but because he is a damn psycho.

We need players that foam at the mouth!

It was 15 games and we are now 0-15 and we will have to forfeit the next 30 as well cause fans like you will refuse to show up to any games.

Harden is also suspended 1 game for every point and assist he had and Brewer will be playing point guard moving forward.

Agreed we need more guys with motors. I thought the team looked best tonight when KJ, Harden, Ariza, Capela were on the floor together

Not enough BBC on the court with Anderson and Dekker in the rotation!! Play the biggest guys at all times!! We need length and girth down low!!

Just wait till Bev misses his first 3 point shot and he will get the same Brewer treatment here.

And do you really believe one guy can make a huge difference in this team's defense?

Or if you really think so, will you start a new thread to appreciate how much Dwight contributed to the Rockets D in the last 3 seasons?

Great points. You might have to build around Harden like that 2001 76ers team. Obviously with better shooter since the rules are different but with scrappy guys like you said. We need guys who will get chippy when things arent going well instead of slumping their shoulders

Agreed. I get excited when Cod posts what he hears but deep down inside I know nothing with ever come to fruition because we just don't have nice assets we would be willing to trade. No one with want Decker, Anderson. Brewer, Ennis, etc.

I just want them to play all the young guys minus Ennis this year. Just let them get out there and run. There's no reason not to do it.

Look forward to your breakdown too!

One thing I think is correct is that the offense is much more stagnant with Harden.

Walk it up, one pass, shot.

the nene shot was lucky, but that was one shot. and anderson went 2-7 on 3's so he didn't exactly light it up. in fact, our team went 7-29 on 3's despite the fact the lakers didn't play much defense so it's not like we were on fire.

Does anybody think we should work out Shane Diesel? Seems like he could give us that girth down low that we need. Couldn't hurt?

I was disappointed in the 4th when he came back in with 7 minutes left. Looks like the team tightened up. They definitely slowed up. But, dammit...that's what will happen in the 4th, you have to be able to play that way. But I also thought they could have ran of a few opps...and I'm not talking about Harden...the whole team.

They all have to break. That's the system.

nene has quite a bit of "don't-give-a-****" in him. the guy can tear up a prime joakim noah one night and then put up 5 and 3 the next night. or play hard in the olympics or not even try when representing his country. that's just how he is. getting beasted by clarkson on that layup showed us what kind of night this was.
