Nene and Anderson closing out this game was a baddddd mistake

 

Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson are not scrubs.

Ennis. That is a scrub. He can't make a good decision even if it was in front of him. In fact, he'll wait for a bad decision opportunity to come along and then go ahead make the bad decision.

 

I'd love this. What a pipe dream though. I think Paul George is the most realistic guy in two years. That would be awesome as well.

 

Capela has zero offensive skills other than jump up and catch the loop for a dunk.

There are couple times he got the ball within 3 feet and also facing the basket and then he proceeded to pass to another player.

Plus the fact that he is indeed a worse FT shooter than Dwight, there is no way any coach want to play him late in the 4th Q in a tight game.

 

Honestly this team missed Beverly desperately. Clarkson doesn't go off like that and he adds so much heart and hustle to the team.

This felt like last year where they thought they would just roll into the first game and cruise to a win.

Also Dmo...Dmo may not be the best defender or rebounder but he hustles. Rhyno and Nene look like the laziest frontcourt in the NBA out there.

Cutting Prigs was a mistake. Now we will need to rely on Ennis or Brown for back up guard minutes. We had a steady veteran that can hit the 3 and actually has vision (Ennis missed way too many open guys...)

Harden was exceptional tonight and Gordon got a little cold. Dmo would be nice as he can create his own shot...the team needs to find out what they are doing with him.

 

Tough love

 

Tough loss tonight, looks like the main issue is our interior defense. I think we should pursue Tyson Chandler or Noel or any defensive center that can rebound. Capella and Nene is not going to cut it.
Oh and Ennis is not ready to play at this level yet.

 

He's the Kelvin Cato of this decade.

 

lol! Your right. That team went 6-0 cause I was at that Spurs game at home when they got their 6th straight.

 

Don't forget the Cougars and the epic PeeWee Herman collapse going on.

 

Just to add, I'm wondering why Bzdelik even took this job. He's got neither the tools nor the support of his superiors to succeed in this situation. You're never going to have even a capable defense with any combination of Anderson, Gordon, Nene and Harden on the floor, even if you added prime Ben Wallace and Ron Artest to the lineup.

 

Our team sucks. Ariza, Enis, Brewer can't do Sh***!
Our defensive assistant coach sucks like hell as well!
Rockets were outcoached and outplayed tonight.

 

I expected bad defense but this is the Lakers we are playing

I just hope the team doesn't begin this season like last year. Most games on the road the team needs to get off by getting some Ws and not start below .500 to start the season.

 

To be fair I though James and Eric played decent on defense tonight. They contested a lot of shots and stayed with their guys ( for the most part ) the interior defense of Capela, Nene, Decker and Anderson was absolutely putrid.
