I still can't believe we lost.

 

My low expectations have lowered.

 

Who ever thought the Rockets were a 50+ win team this year is on crack.

I have them at low 40's.

 

The Rockets must solve rebounding issues...its a real issue and they need someone to fill that role as a starter. Nene is NOT a good defensive rebounder.

The Rockets also MUST address defense. No real reason to lose to a team like the Lakers and allow their guys to go nutz...They really need to make a trade...

 

Not even close - this loss is the result of an owner / GM combo who think we can make Harden into something he isn't.

The Lakers are a young inexperienced team, which is why Harden got all his assists in the first half. Once they tightened things up, he was reduced to a SG doing his best to run an offense.

I don't blame Harden anymore than I would blame Shaq if someone designed a game plan that focused on him shooting jumpers at the top of the key. Harden is a superb pick and roll player, but he isn't a PG and he doesn't have the motor to play 90 feet on every play. He's going to get worn out by the third quarter every game (and maybe earlier against teams who run full court press early in the games). That's a recipe for another shitty season.

For the sake of Rockets fans' sanity, I hope there's a plan B.

 

The best entertainment you can get this season is by reading the postgame whining and crying in here.

Well I saw a lot of bad tonight and honestly nothing really good but I have to keep reminding myself that this is not a championship caliber team it's just not !!!!

 

Downgrade. As expected.

This season we can't even play defense against the Lakers.

 

Sigh....another day of having to watch a sports team in my city get trashed all over the news and social media. We have the most embarrassing losses. Texans getting embarrassed, rockets lose the opener to the shitty lakers and the Astros are the personal b****es of the Rangers

 

I dont get why yall are mad? We only have 1 player.

 

This organization is what it is, support and invest time in it as you wish while les and morey continue to make possibly more poor decisions after another while continuing to feed your illusions that they are doing a good job with the team.

 

I thought they would actually give a damn about defense.

Can't believe Corey Brewer scored 51 points on us.

 

Despite all the complaints about the defense, tonight's game was lost at the free throw line and horrific 3pt shooting in the second half. There were actually a higher number of bad offensive possessions than defensive possessions tonight. Lakers also need to be given credit for playing a good game and making some tough shots.
Also,how the hell did that guy's voice never give out on him?

 

I have them around 45 but after tonight I'm not sure

 

scrubs always looking like a superstar when facing the rockets

 

We look like a 40 win team. Still have to address rebounding & defense. Offense looked great in the 1st quarter at least.

 

Harden isn't in shape

Can't penetrate as much and not finishing as well at the rim

 

So we're not starting the season with a winning streak. This is 1/82, MDA was pretty much testing what works. I'm not concerned ith the loss

 

Le$$ is not building championship team, he's in't to make money (and have to admit his organization making good money) maybe befor he will sell the team ,we will be lucky to witness one more championship team in Houston.
