Where did I say you had to have won the championship to qualify? Talk about putting words in my mouth. I said let me know when he carriers the/a team in a series, or consistently throughout the season. He is a fantastic player and a beast, thats not in question. Like I said, if he keeps up that type of dominance consistenly, he's made the switch from Pippen to jordan.
lol, both games were 29 point games. wow. warriors have a 2010 heat feel to them. in that the weight of being the villain seems to be on them in the way they play. they lack a certain joie de vivre in their play. like they know it's funny if they lose and they just look like bullies if they celebrate while winning. the spurs didn't even play particularly amazingly and the warriors just weren't inspired. now of course the warriors are insanely talented and just like that heat team started 9-8 and then went 21-1 and made the finals and should have won the finals if lebron didn't choke, joie de vivre or not the warriors aren't going to just be stopped easily.
Manu Ginobli 10 or 12 years ago could have forged a better career as a star 2/3 somewhere else in the NBA but chooses to stay humble in San Antonio until his youth is depleted. How much money do you guys think Ginobli lost in earnings for being a special off the bench guy for the Spurs? $100 to $150 million? I think that sounds about right.
i recall the miami heat didnt win the chamionship in their first SEASON together againt a mavs team with great chemistry which got bounced out in round 1 the season after. this was just game on in the regular season. let's not get carried away. true.
