    playcalling doesn't matter when the qb just can't throw a good ball.

    he stares down receivers, he makes poor reads, he holds on to the ball too long, he has poor timing, poor footwork, horribly inaccurate, etc.

    that's not a playcalling issue.

    it wasn't a playcalling issue with hoyer, keenum, weeden, etc. they still could get the ball to hopkins,

    Even the deep balls that are being thrown are completely pointless. No effort to read the defense, or put it in a place where our receivers can actually go get it. Always overthrown, always into double coverage, and almost always incomplete.

    If the Osweiler signing is the thing that finally gets Rick Smith fired, it might be the best move in the history of the organization.

    It's gonna be interesting watching Rick and Bill try to throw each other under the bus in the upcoming months.

    He just got an extension though, so doubt he's going anywhere.

    Maybe already posted, but... Brock is the first player in NFL history with - < 200 yards / 40+ pass attempts... 3x same season.

    Makes sense because 1) pre-2000's probably feature much fewer 40+ attempt games to begin with and 2) 200 yards on THIRTY attempts sucks.

    Brock has done it 3x already on FORTY with more than half the.season still remaining.


    This situation mirrors the notorious '13 Schaub Pick-6 specialist crap-fest.
