This dude Brock is pure garbage. I tried to exercise some patience but dang this joker is comically horrific. It's also puzzling to me that we can not compete with top rated teams.
BOB still hasn't learned how to play his players to their strengths and their defense is by no means good enough to deal with this level of incompetence when it comes to the game plan.
Damn I made this analogy to a friend the other day. Mitchell got paid cause he had a few good games after Dan Marino went down. But I think Mitchell is a better player than Brock.
How many other teams have as much offensive weapons as the Texans? A handful? Sucks that the Texans can't have a good QB.
Can we please stop saying we spent $72 million on Brock? It would make me feel better first of all. Second of all, there's no way he's getting any incentives. What's the guaranteed? $36 million? That's what he's getting. He may not even last two years here. If I'm O'Brien, I sit Brock down and tell him he's got a week to play better. One week. He obviously can't function in a high pressure environment, and if he can't do that, he'll never be a good quarterback in the league. Give him some pressure. Give him some stats you want him to hit, or you tell him he's benched. This kid has to learn to deal with pressure. If he doesn't perform, this gives you the bye to prep Savage. Man, this team is terrible. I feel like Brock wasn't O'Brien's choice, but Brock's vacuum of suckitude may still cost O'Brien his job. What a disaster.
Having followed this team since day 1 I knew better than to stay up when I saw how impotent we looked.
At this point, the best-case scenario is an injury. It'd give us a chance to see Savage, as well as BOB's system minus Osweiler. At this point, I have no earthly idea who's at fault; I just know this offense looks as limp as any I've ever seen, and an injury to Osweiler is the only way we'll know for sure who to blame.
Hey now! That's a hot! Hot! HOT! take; I thought those were the exclusive domain of the unwashed masses?
Haha I was right internet tough guy. Broncos rammed it up the Texans. I didn't watch as usual but from the meltdown here looks like Texans were outplayed yet again.
No one in the front office knows what they're doing. Bill O'Brien is arrogant enough to think he can "coach up" any garbage player he picks at QB. Rick just trying to stay on for another extension because he doesn't know anything about football. McNair is too scared to make any decision on his own so always needs Rick (or some consultant) by his side.
I feel like this "B'OB didn't choose Brock" story (which I think is false) is gonna go from a whisper to "conventional wisdom" as Bill O'Brien dispatches his sources and anonymous leaks in upcoming weeks. It started with the whole Osweiler vs. Bill shouting match story and will only get worse.
Frustration last night reached all times levels. This organization is too busy looking for "good guys" and players who "fit the image" for those stupid commercials they run everyday with JJ & Brock. F all that image crap. They'd rather pass up on a talented NFL player with a few personal issues, but high skill level, and take a chance on a player who hasn't proven anything but fits their image as a organization. Brock, David Carr, Matt Schaub etc..These guys all suck and should've never been given a contract
I know Brock was terrible. But did L. Miller get hurt? Why was Blue in? And I'm sorry but at least half of that loss goes to the ATROCIOUS defense.
I'm pretty disgusted that in order to see good, fun football in the great state of Texas, I have to watch the Cowboys and Aggies.
You noticed who Kubiak went after when they needed a TD? Put it right in Kareem Jackson's butthole. Like everyone does. After 8 years, he still can't turn and look for the ball and still gives a 10 yard cushion to a 5 yard play. Loose butthole. The loosest.
I was surprised to hear last night that the Texans didn't even meet Brock before giving him that contract. What is that about?!?
BOB is stubborn. No amount of shouting, yelling, berating at the media, will turn this team around for the better. This team will lose a superstar WR at the end of the season, and the defense will follow suit. Houston sports, amirite?
Lmao you are the ultimate internet tough guy. You are a piece of **** that trolls through the Texans forum when they are losing to get a rise out of Houston fans. And no you were wrong about what you said in the Colts game. Anyone who left that game regretted it, dumbass. Do I blame them for leaving? Hell no the situation looked grim. Texans fans have every right to be upset about last night just like rockets fans have every right to be upset about our whole last season. And if you are calling me an Internet tough guy thinking I won't meet up with you at 5pm today and **** you where you stand then you have another thing comin **** boy.
