What is the republican solution to the Healthcare issue? I think obamacare was designed to fail. The sooner we get to single payer system the better. Why does medicare exists? Shouldn't the free market be able to solve all our issues?

Hopefully in 10 years America can achieve the dream, single player health care.

People should just ditch Obamacare and go back to their old insurance. Problem solved.

It took you long enough to figure out Obamacare was crap. Lots of people were trying to tell you and others that from the start

Undercut American workers' ability to negotiate a higher income. A higher income is probably the last thing anyone needs. I mean, what would people do with the money - affordably pay for health insurance?

I didn't say Obamacare was crap. I said people who don't like it should go back to their old insurance. Reading is still fundamental.

Insurance is such a scam and doesn't even make economic sense for people under 35 at this point

They did, they couldn't. The Democrats controlled both houses of congress and the white house. Obama used every bit of his political capital to bribe enough Democrats with pork to go along with it to barely get it passed. Not a single Republican supported it....and they didn't even let the Republicans know what was in the bill till it came time to vote for it.

There are parts of Obamacare that are nice, but any benefits are greatly outweighed by the negatives. It, like people suggested it would be, was a total disaster. That said, with the Republicans ceding the election to Hillary by nominating Trump, there's nothing that will be able to be done about it until after it completely fails on its own.

Yeah, people under 35 never get cancer or get into car wrecks or ever suffer any real problems.

We will likely have a public option much sooner than 10 years. Barring dramatic life saving changes to the policy, the aca exchanges will be completely dead by January 1 2019. Even local community health choice (handles Harris county Medicaid and sells commercial business now) is admitting they can't handle the enrollments they are getting.

My premium has gone from approximately $150 to $350 and my benefits are crap. I'm sure it'll be a lot higher next year. But its not like the Republicans have any solution to this. :(

Ah yes. Obama's "signature" legislation. I notice they don't like to call it "Obamacare" anymore. Now its the "Affordable Care Act". Has there EVER been anything named that was more ironic?

Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi....we found out what was in the bill once we passed it. A big steaming pile of ****.

"Obamacare" was popularized by the high priestess herself, Sarah Palin. Democrats were desperately trying to call it the "Affordable Care Act."

I guess we should now call it "57% Approval Rating for an Outgoing President Just Before an Election, Tied for Highest in the Last 30 Years (and Higher than Reagan)-care"
