How are we going to call two garbage runs in a row and then go for it on 4th and 17? Play calling failing us at the worst time.
We really have no excuse for losing this game. K-State was practically trying to throw the game all 4th quarter.

Yes, it's fair. It's a results-oriented business. He's getting paid millions of dollars. He has his recruits. He's fired all of his coordinators. Only one person left to blame.
I like him but this team has way too much talent to be so mediocre. There's just so many undisciplined mistakes and that's a reflection of the coach more often than not. In every level of sports, you need an elite coach or things aren't going to get done. No matter how much I think he's a good guy, which allows the players to buy in, I just haven't seen that ability from him yet. For a program like Texas, you kinda have to expect a short leash.
PR positioning perhaps? UT is going to get flamed regardless if and when Strong gets fired. By letting him finish the season, at least they can say they gave him the chance to right the season, never thought about firing him mid-season, blah blah blah. With our remaining schedule, there is good chance we have a worse record than the last 2 seasons, more reasoning to let someone go if you needed more. But concerned with what is happening with our prized 2015 class. Hill, Davis, and now Malik are getting benched. They aren't playing well so it's understandable but with the fact that their replacements aren't playing any better and the state of the team generally, this can downwards quickly.
How can anyone really defend Strong after all the evidence? I don't get why the national media continues to make excuses for him.
