You cannot be serious. If you guys are complaining about paying $100 for Harden/Nene/Dekker, Harden by HIMSELF at Tristar is $150. Yep, Tristar is better.... NOT!
I got an autograph + photo with Harden for $158 total at Tristar & didn't have to wait in a crazy long line. Your mileage may vary.
LMAO what a bunch of haters, the only reason they're charging is to raise money from charity. Players sign autographs for free all the time c'mon dude who would actually pay money for Brewer's autograph? Chinanu hasn't even played an official NBA game yet he'd probably have to pay someone to take his autograph. Stop being so distrusting of Les Alexander, dude isn't made of money but it's not like he's selling picks for cash left and right.
Last year's Fan Fest (which i mentioned got cancelled due to weather) charged i think $40 for Harden by himself and said the proceeds were going to charity. I went for it - spending $40 as a charitable donation AND getting an autograph that is hard to get (and much desired) would have been worth it. When the event got cancelled, they turned the $40 into 2 lower level seats for the game vs Orlando. Bottom line, asking for $50 minimum to get the trios they mention, and $100 for the harden trio is TOO MUCH. Supply and demand - a lot of the attendees are people whose only chance to see the team in person this year is through this free event. There is no justifiable reason to charge that much for the autographs if all the $ is going to charity - charge what you know will be reasonable for people to buy (they aren't unlimited - they would sell out at the right price) and i'm sure the charity (who i promise you has no involvement in setting these prices) will appreciate whatever they get.
Bought the $150 package last year and it got flooded out. So they gave me 2 tickets lower bowl to the Magic game and I moved up in the 1st quarter to the first row before floor seating. Very memorable experience.
I have this feeling that Payton isn't going to get cut and Wiltjer is. I mean you aren't taking pictures with Wiltjer and he's playing more in preseason than Payton.
All the people complaining about the prices can't afford it. It's for charity. This is one of the rare times you will get Hardens auto and meet him face to face. $100 is cheap!
It's nice that the money is going to charity. Back in the day the Rockets would have fan events before the game where you could get pictures and autographs from the players for free. Somewhere I have pictures and autographs from Ed Ratliff and Mike Newlin. That was a long time ago.
Me too, Yao autograph on a basketball. Think I'll just hang on to it. Actually the session is for a good cause, so can't complain about that. But no, I'm not paying those prices for autographs.
Casa de Esperanza takes in little kids who are subjected to dangerous and unstable situations at home. Everyone here should buy an overpriced autograph to support this charity instead of being dicks about the prices charged.
