Not really, the only question with him is if his body can take this kind of beating consistently. If he doesn't break down, Steven Adams is gonna one of the best NBA centers in the league. I think he might be the new Westbrick savior, the one guy who will actually win the game and allow WB to continue his chucking ways and hype train to continue.

Giannis was a risky pick. High risk high reward guy, there is a reason why he was picked at 15. Also, yes, they already had a better version of Giannis in Durant, whereas they had the aging Perkins that need to be replaced.

Why would you draft Giannis when you already have a superstar version of him on board? This is OKC, not the Sixers. Players are drafted based on what's needed and not for fantasy points.

I think that this is a bit harsh on Westbrook. He has been really trying to stop his chucking ways lately and has hit up a telephatic understanding with Adams. There is actually a video of all Adams dunk last season and Westbrook was assisting him about 95% of the time. Dude was just casually heaving the ball or doing behind the backs and still Adams was in the right position to catch it.

I am 100% against any kind of nut kicking. It has no place in the game of basketball or life.

Portland took Bowie instead of Jordan because they had Drexler, took Oden because they had Brandon Roy. Detroit took Milicic instead of Carmelo because they already had Prince. Teams always take the best talent available. Tim Duncan even with DRob. Hakeem and Ralph.
Giannis wasn't taken earlier because he was such a young, raw, skinny, unknown overseas talent. No biggie for the teams for not drafting him. That 2012 draft though Morey...

Giannis wasn't drafted higher because he would not agree to be stashed overseas. Otherwise, he might have been a top 5 pick. His draft stock exploded as the draft approached. However, because he was viewed by teams as a long term project (with no guaranteed to be good), he slid to #15.
