I DID say that I'd rather keep Brown over Ennis if it came down to that.
At least Brown can shoot. And if he's ball hawking the coach can easily remedy that
by putting him on the pine.
But that's a better problem to have than someone who CAN'T shoot or finish very well.
Right Ennis? Sorry, just don't see it. When he's running the point it's like he's
dribbling back/forth to find someone to dump the ball to.
NO threat from the perimeter at all. To be effective at PG you need to be an outside threat.
Even his drives don't seem to be very efficient. As I recall, he was running point when our 2nd unit
came in and went on a 0-14 run with their 2nd. Gordon was off and no other real scorers
on the floor and it was a disaster

The fact that Corey brewer is still on this team makes me question Moreys intelligence

Could Barnes potentially be the worst player ever to receive a max contract?

How would you get rid of him? We can't amnesty him. He has negative trade value at this point. Remember when we had to give up a pick to get rid of Jeremy Lin? Brewer is less desirable than Lin. Do you want Morey to just waive Brewer outright and pay his salary for the next few years? Or do you want him to give up multiple picks to be rid of him? There isn't really a good way out of this.

Wiltjer needs to get minutes with Harden and spot up on the opposite side of the floor for the cross court pass.

It hurts seeing Ariza miss wiiiiiiiide open 3 after wiiiiiiiiiide open 3 when set up by Harden.

    McDaniels was fantastic.

I'm so glad D'Antoni is able to utilise him offensively so he can stay on the floor longer where he excels on the defensive end.

By the way..... does anyone sit back and just think how damn beautiful it is that the only option in our playbook isn't a baseline inbounds pass to Dwight standing at the free throw line extended.

God McHale was truly, truly, TRULY, an awful coach.

    Oh good grief

He can't rebound to safe his life, he has zero athleticism and is extremely slow and he can't put the ball on the floor. So other than being tall white and can shoot he's absolutely nothing like Love.

Is D'Antoni also a Brewer guy? Because it seems like he might be a Brewer guy. :(

We need to upgrade our 3 spot. Ariza is the weakest link on our starting lineup.

In our own Rocket's alt-right world I have a feeling Wiltjer will be released while somehow we manage to extend Corey Brewer. :(

No kidding, been saying this for a year now but people have been slow to catch on. I'd package up our garbage to acquire gay and McLemore

We really need KJ to start and Gordon to come off the bench for some scoring. I know Nene will provide some, but our 2nd unit was downright horrible the first half. In the 4th Gordon finally got the ball to go to work. KJ & Gordon can handle the ball, please never Ennis! Wiltjer is solid so please keep him. Dekker looked pretty bad, but the spacing went to **** since we didn't hit our outside shots. Harrell is alive and kicking, KJ looked very good as well as Capela. Brewer looked like crap. This guy should never see the court, every single time he dribbles, I fear a TO.

I don't know if pre-season has anything to do with Harden's performance, but these horrible passes, lazy defensive possessions, not getting back in transition and not boxing out is still worrisome. He better put his money where his mouth is. We also have to stop falling in love with threes, because it will backfire big time.

I would like to see Wiltjer playing more with the first team in the last preseason game and see how it goes. Harden has been creating many wide open threes for the brick brothers, let's insert Wiltjer and see how he does. More important I would like to see how good the system will be to give Harden more room to drive into the paint with great shooters, including Wiltjer spreading the floor.

You must still be living in the mchale ISO ball offensive days. This offense is built around ball movement. Brown is a black hole. Those guys don't work in this system. While I agree that Ennis hasn't been great this preseason, he has been showing progress at being able to run the offense and make his teammates better. I'd take him and let him develop. Brown is gonna get CUT. Mark it zero.
