I don't know. I thought it was about tonight's debate. I didn't think it was a general statement about the candidates. There are tons of other threads talking about that stuff.

I guess I'm fine with you claiming that both suck. But don't disparage other posters for saying one of the candidates did better than the other ones since it was a topic in most folks minds about tonight's performance.

Definitely agree with the points that she scored and overall she did win.

Trump however did score by bringing up the Chicago riots (only because she did not respond) and Trump also scored when he brought up the shady dealings of the Clinton Foundation (particularly accepting money from foreign governments and the corruption following the Haiti disaster in 2010).

Respectfully disagree. Because all Presidential candidates lie. If that's all you got, you have a very weak argument.

I am by no means saying that! I'm just saying (my opinion) based off of this election and these debates; nothing really looks promising. I just watched a **** show of smack talk and complete arrogance by both candidates.

The only real mistake HRC made tonight was taking time to respond to some of Donald's ridiculous attacks -- especially when he starting on all the illegals Obama has deported. That attack defends itself and didn't even need a response -- basically Trump saying Obama is tough on illegal immigration.

You're right about that. I'm just frustrated that this is all we have. I am sure I'm not the only one.

    Ridiculous.

He asks a serious question. They gloss over it to get to personal attacks. They don't answer to those either.

Trump refusing to say he would respect the results of the election will be the headline. This should disqualify him and the GOP must repudiate this.

Regardless of who won or lost Trump is again showing why he is dangerous. As Wallace noted a peaceful transition of power is one of the things we hold sacrosanct. Al Gore and GW Bush had a long protracted battle that went into OT with a lot of shadiness. Many felt Gore was railroaded but he still gave a humble and even self-deprecating concession for the good of the country.

That Trump is threatening to not accept that is very dangerous. Even more that he is playing coy about it isn't just dangerous but is frankly insulting to his own supporters. They might not feel that way but when called out on it he gives a half-assed answer just shows that he probably wants to give himself some wiggle room but at the same time wants to keep his supporters riled up.

"Such a nasty woman" was the full quote I believe.

I also liked "Your husband would disagree".

Hillary looked Presidential tonight.... Trump looked like he should be selling used cars. Very stark contrast that has been emerging slowly over the debate. Clinton seemed more comfortable and clearly in control; reminded me of Margaret Thatcher. I am comfortable in voting for her more than a few days ago.
