Even removing the tawdry tabloid shenanigans (which are otherwise fair game), Trump is still a woefully unqualified candidate undeserving of a party's consideration, let alone nomination.

He has demonstrated a comical misunderstanding of how our government works, has continually said dangerous things about issues and groups, has routinely shown poor judgement and impatience, and has a seemingly pathological disregard for outside counsel. And that was before he started threatening to derail one of the more sacred tenants of democracy by claiming that the election - which, so far as I know, has not yet happened - is rigged.

No, no... Trump would make a very bad president. And if tabloid scandals are the impetus for people to finally wake up to the depth of his potential destruction, so be it.

It is truly baffling that there are still sentient people defending this buffoon's qualification to be president and/or drawing some false equivalency with Clinton's qualifications.

He is getting what comes from throwing your name in the political cesspool. Reality and what is reported by the media are two completely separate things.

The media used to report what happened and now all we get is opinion and spin. It would be nice to get to form my opinion from facts and events reported by the media and not have to sift through the spin. I understand that news media was dying and they need the money but damn....

Are you suggesting allegations of sexual assault are opinion and spin?

There are plenty of outlets who are covering this election with the urgency it deserves.

What a complete and utter bullshit equivalency. Hillary has legislative experience while being accountable to one of the largest and most diverse constituencies in the country; has cabinet-level and foreign policy experience; and a doctorate-level, Ivy-league education and career in a field that directly involves an entire branch of government. Trump's overt motives of alleviating boredom, self-promotion, class-clowning for his rich friends, checking off his bucket list and his likely ulterior motives of securing government contracts and federal land and mineral rights should be enough to disqualify him; his complete lack of experience in public office, his child-like attention span and self-pitying in the face of even mildly contentious questioning should be enough to harken memories of Nixon, Harding, Andrew Johnson, Buchanan and all other worst-case scenarios in the minds of any honest and even marginally informed voter. Can you imagine all of Trump's pettiness and emotional flailing after losing a re-election primary, and then like a James Buchanan, re-projecting all that crap to military or fiscal decisions? You realize he could easily be the first President to commit suicide in office? Incidentally none of this would have been true or even alluded to if any other GOP contender had been nominated.

Not only that can you imagine Trump having nuanced trade discussions with other major heads of states? This fool single handedly could lessen our bargaining power.
