Even without Bev, Ennis is 4th string ball handler at best:

    Harden/EGo/Prigs THEN Ennis.

Really gope Prigs and Ennis get the bulk of the minutes at BU PG until PatBev gets back. Think We got somethin in Ennis. And Prigs is the heaRt and soul of the team.

He's fighting to make team right now. But would rather keep over either Ennis or Brown.

    -------------------------------------------
Rockets guard Pat Beverley was ruled out of the Rockets' second preseason game, Tuesday against the New York Knicks, because of soreness in his left knee.

Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said there was no specific incident that led to Beverley's knee pain, but that he woke up feeling sore on Tuesday.

"You hate for anybody to miss anything, but it's better for it to happen now," D'Antoni said. "He loves to play and I love for him to play and I'm going to miss him tonight. But he'll be out there soon."

Before the injury, Ennis was guaranteed a spot as Beverley, Gordon, and geriatric Prigioni were all big injury risks. Now? Even Payton might have a chance. Sorry Wiltjer.

in 2 spot back court thats actually very serviceable and really prigs is a last resort option. i'd say ennis will end up with more PT then prigs

Yeah, I remember that post awhile ago. Do you know if he came into camp with it, and kept it a secret,,,or it was a game or practice incident.

See D'Antoni's apparent smokescreen comment above where he reports Bev just woke up feeling sore, and no specific incident.

    Please NO Ennis nor GPII

If they are going to be playing opposite James, Bev shot almost 40% from downtown last year. Not bad.
We need someone who can knock down shots.
If they are PG for our second unit. NO thanks. Not even consistent on FT's
Neither of these guys are serviceable. Maybe against Grizz 3rd string. But NO
    Looks like Harden/McDaniel as starters?
    2nd unit, Gordon/Prigs?

Not sure, I can try and find out..No surgery was required, so they for whatever reason decided to keep under wraps...

    LOL.

    So much for precautionary.
Bev is done as a starter in this league, knees can't handle the minutes.

Why would one GM broadcast to all other GMs how bad a non-surgical injury is? Same applies to progress/relapse of recoveries from surgery? You might want to try to trade the player while holding your cards tight to the vest. When in the internet age did fans feel some right to know, regardless to whether it is in the best interest of the team for other GMs to know, as well.

Plus, you can piss off an agent, too.

    These posters get it.
