    trump supporters....

Secret Service declines comment after Trump supporter says Hillary Clinton "needs to be taken out" and that "she should be in prison or shot."

The Trump supporter, Dan Bowman, told the Wall Street Journal Thursday at Trump's Cincinnati, Ohio rally that “I feel like Hillary needs to be taken out. If she gets in the government, I’ll do everything in my power to take her out of power."

“If I have to be a patriot, I will,”

Uh, what the hell are you arguing exactly? That news organizations don't do their due diligence or that they do? Make up your mind looney.

My point is how can you discount something so easily and then believe the media without confirming what they are saying to you is true.

I gave you an example of the media lying to you. One its not illegal to view the emails and two how can you verify that CNN is telling the truth.

Most of those who support trump have a deep rooted hate for one or more of the following groups: 1)black people/minorities; 2) Muslims; 3) women.

The only alternative is they are so deeply tied to the Republican Party they have to support him out of obligation.

Any other reasoning is just the guise they operate under so they don't have to state one of the above reasons.

I keep hearing this. The main disconcerting thing about his remarks was that he admitted to actively try to "f" a married woman while being married himself. That is not "normal". Also, anyone who believes this was a one time 11 year old issue is incredibly naive.

thats a very lame excuse. political correctness has little to do with it. it is what he says, what he has done and what he says he will do.

when people complain about "political correctness" what they are really saying is that they want to be able to say and do stupid s*** and not be called out for it.

so we are not supposed to take anything he says seriously? most of us dont, but he is running for president...not comedian. and how are people supposed to react when a presidential candidate calls an entire group of people rapists? also, bragging about sexually assaulting women is not "locker room talk"...what is wrong with you?

    what does this even mean?

this is not true at all. i have seen extensive coverage of clintons emails on cnn and msnbc. and the main reason there is not more is that trump is constantly saying and doing stupid stuff so the media covers that instead. and trump could be making more of an issue of this, but instead he is spending most of his time slandering the women who have come forward with claims of sexual harassment and making baseless and dangerous claims that the election is rigged.

Yeah I don't see the need to equate a mistake with a lie and then give false equivalency to actual, constant, and outrageous lies from Trump. Media organizations employ all sorts of people to get the correct information and that they make mistakes doesn't mean there is a conspiracy against Trump. It's a phoney bologna argument to juxtapose tweets, youtube videos, and Facebook posts from citizen nutjobs against professional journalists who aren't Fox News or MSNBC. The pros are going to win that one 99.9% of the time and yet that .01% when they make a mistake and it's the clown show posse presenting it as evidence of a worldwide media conspiracy. You folks are stuck on BS mountain where whatever nonsense comes out of Fox News as a shill for Republican politics is okay but any network that dares be critical of Republicans is unfair, biased, etc because if Fox News is a shill then everyone must be too. It's tired, boring, and stupid.

And the Trumpanzees want to go on and on and on about how Clinton doesn't get scrutiny but the fact is she's been under scrutiny for 30 years. There's nothing we don't know about Clinton at this point. You can't accept as fair and balanced all the free billions of dollars of coverage that Trump gets and then whine because he gets scrutiny. Trump is good for ratings because he's a freak show, whether the's ranting and raving like a lunatic or talking about sexually assaulting women. That's why Trump gets all the coverage. It's a conspiracy of profitability, not of politics. Get a grip.

What's tiring is your Clinton agenda. People are allowed to not like Clinton and still hate Trump at the same time. Your accusatory tone with those that don't follow your agenda makes you no different than the redneck racist trump supporters you hate so much. So take a good look in the mirror and punch yourself.

Consequently, that's why I want him.

People get offended for a lot of arbitrary reasons. That's why politicians skirt around sensitive topics because it might hurt some (stupid) people. I'm glad we have a candidate that's not afraid to talk about the topics that need to be talked about.

No. I want people to pick up on his rhetoric. He uses a lot of hyperbole to emphasize a topic. It's a lot like what the press does. Let's take the birther controversy. People accused him of being a conspiracy theorist but he threw out every accusation out there for the issue to get some attention. If he had been mellow and polite about it like "I think there are very serious doubts whether or not President Obama was actually born on the land", you think people would've given it as much attention? The press would've let it die down. And he got mission accomplished. He got Obama to release his long form birth certificate.

Now, the press and a lot of the public have been very stupid believing most birthers would actually stand to death over the accusations they put out. They just don't get it. They don't get how persuasion works. Same thing with the "they're rapists" comment. I pity them.

The sex bragging, though, was said in a private conversation, when he wasn't running for office. It's locker room talk. Believe me, I've heard "worse". There's a lot of nuance in the way guys talk that women, gays and beta numales don't get.

Trump is practically the archetypal go-go 80s guy. Only in America could he have been that.

I see your points. They're very valid.

My conundrum in this election is this :

I know that I will not vote for Trump. I do not think he is fit for President, and if anything, I think he'd be a detriment to this country, and would possibly wage an outright assault on our Constitution.

I was on the Gary Johnson train for a while, but he's essentially shown himself to be unfit as well, and on top of that, I realize it'd be a throw away vote.

Do I want to vote for Hillary? She's the most presidential. But at the same time, she's almost as bad as Trump. Her policies, for the most part, fall within my political views. Though some of it rubs me the wrong way.

Basically, I'm deciding between a Hillary vote, and a no vote. I've always voted, but this may be the time I courteously abstain. I just don't know if I'm comfortable with that, either.

If I was voting straight policy, I'd vote Johnson. Problem is, you can't vote straight policy.

Sorry it took me so long to respond.

In my mind there are two Trump supporters:

    1.) The nationalist

    2.) Fed up with Washington.

Obviously there is some overlap but it's the nationalists who are the most entrenched.

So, he uses a lot of overblown hyperbole to emphasize a subject, and a ridiculous one at that (birther argument), but the media doesn't get it? He is lauded for this by supporters because it's a great, tactical way to bring coverage to a subject.

    BUT...

When the media tries to emphasize and hyperbolize his tax returns by guessing at reasons he won't release them, he gets offended and says they're unfairly targeting him. And when SNL starts making fun of him (in hyperbole, mind you) and the idiocy his campaign stands for, he and his followers can't handle it, and call for the show to be cancelled.

    I get it...

What is my Clinton agenda? Riddle me that one.

You didn't actually address anything I said because it's all true so you went with the both sides do it Space Ghost nonsense. Typically boring.

People complaining about media bias: the Citizens United ruling (2010) gave corporations personhood in terms of political speech. Yeah, it's a bullshit ruling, but this is our system. Corporations are allowed to express political opinions under the auspices of the First Amendment. I agree it's bullshit.

No you don't because you're not aware the media actually has a job to provide accurate reporting. And those "parody" shows are supposed to be comedy shows, not politicized.
