He's also spent his career at New England where they never gave the fans a reason to leave. He can stfu honestly.
Never encountered it before? Must be due to the fact that you played for the ****ing New England Patriots and were murdering everyone. I'm indifferent.. I would have stayed because I already bought the ticket and I would be avoiding going home and thus ending my weekend. But I don't really care that people left either. Their punishment was missing that spectacular ending. Players should keep us in games better if they want happy fans.
lol... That's stupid. Wilfork is 100% right. And he has every right to destroy the fans that left. They won the game. Our fans suck for the most part.
It's completely normal for fans to leave early when teams are mediocre or bad. It's more the norm actually.
I don't blame the fans for leaving. The offense had shown zero ability to put together three straight successful drives all season until last night.
There were fans leaving at halftime... lol. A friend of mine left at halftime. I get some fans leaving, they're not all die hards. I was pretty surprised as to how empty it was too in the 4th. Hopefully our stadium wont look like a complete embarrassment on national tv next time in the 4th/OT when they make a come back again.
most of the blame should go to the media because the only reason the players are talking about the fans is because the media keeps asking them. the media tries to create drama between the team and fans instead of just letting it be organic. today's media are for the most part scum.
I used to never leave games early until Rockets games last season. That included Texans games with David Carr. The Rockets established a new level of suck and DGAF last year.
Doesn't change the fact that Houston, Jacksonville, Detriot and Cleveland are one of 4 teams that have never made the super bowl and out of those 4 cities one city has sold out all their home games since 2002... that's Houston... it's fans. Tell that to Vince please.
That's all true. But I think he still has every right to rip the fans after a comeback like that. We've sold out every game and never had a real shot of even getting to the SuperBowl. That just tells me we have a lot of fans that will support this team regardless of their record. That's why I was a little surprised to see it that empty.
Fans leaving before the game over happens at every fanbase; just ask the Heat fans in Game 6 in the 2012 Finals and especially Ranger and Cowboys fans
Nonsense.. the blame goes on the team. Do fans leave if we're not getting embarrassed? No Do fans leave if we would've been competitive against NE or MIN? No Do they leave if the team doesn't get blown out 30-0? Probably not The team acted like they NEEDED the fans to leave. They didn't stop getting their ass kicked until the fans left.
