    I dont watch Simpsons anymore but make an effort to watch every year Treehouse of Horror episodes

    It is not as good as it used to be, as has been mentioned before...but every year there is an episode or two that is stellar. The Treehouse of Horror episodes are also still good. And while not as good as it once was, I still will usually kill half an hour with the Simpsons each week.

    Am I the only one who will tune to FX during their epic Simpsons marathons, look to see what kind of animation quality the episode has, and then make a decision on whether to stay on it or not? To me, if the quality is bad, then it's an episode worth watching because it's in the first 5-6 seasons of the show.

    I'm watching the marathon again for all of the later seasons that I missed. There are still plenty of very good episodes well after season 6 and into this year.
