How about sneaky fast, with confident handles.

I don't mean to ruin the mystery for you, but "that sucks" is not referring to lollipops. On a side note,, telling a hetero male a homophobic putdown is not about putting down a homo. It's just a fact that immasculating a hetero male is the most effective way to put them down- that is just nature. That's why you have p*ssy, b*ch, etc. When my friends and I said the homo slurs as youths to each other (when it was acceptable), we had no issues with homos. It was because that is what got to hetero men the best. It's nature. Hetero men hate being immasculated. Always works

What are you doing dude? Dekker has sneaky good athleticisim. He also has pretty good on ball skills and off the ball he is probably our best mover. Is he better then an healthy Dmo? Hell no because we saw how dominante Dmo was in that run without Dwights, but to continuesly put him down and down right fabricate things to prove you're point is just wrong.

He's like a millionaire's Chandler Parsons because he can actually play on the court.

The Chandler you're thinking of died when Parsons left Houston. Parsons now is always injured and has never played a full season, he's like one of the biggest albatross contracts in the NBA.

Because DD is living in a strange world where the salary cap doesn't exist and health isn't a factor. In this world Parsons and Ariza and Dekker have the same health and make the same amount of money so of course Parsons is the best and Morey should've matched that contract because who gives a **** about salaries we're not the one paying Parson's salary.

Whenever DD obsessively dislikes a player, he is pretty much destined to blossom.

Guess somebody should make an "Ariza or Dekker" thread now to begin preliminary discussions.

Immasculated? IMO, kind of like being immoderately immolated?

One thing I really like about Dekker: his greatest strength in college has transferred over as a good strength in the NBA...finishing at the rim. That's also one of the more difficult things to do in the NBA and is a huge determinate of success. He's going to become at least an average shooter....his shot isn't broken and we're already seeing signs of improvement. Looks really good on the fast break as well.

On offense, he's a wing....likely a small 4. Pretty clearly defined role: shoot when you're open and slash when the defender closes out too aggressively. He's a good cog, and might even be a playmaker in a limited sense some day.

It's a bit murkier on defense. Right now he's going to struggle because he's neither athletic enough to guard guys like Draymond or Durant or big enough to guard traditional 4s. He will add natural muscle over time which will allow him to hang around the paint some and he will add the BBIQ needed to play smart along the perimeter. I don't see him as a lock down defender in the future, but I don't think that's a necessity.

Good player. Hope we hold onto him for the long haul. His type of talent is more difficult to find than many assume.

Sad when you're so desperate to prop up one player that you have to rag on another player.

Do we have proof that Dekker, Ariza and whoever the other two guys are do or don't suck the object in question?

I really don't understand why are you guys thinking that there is any kind of comparison between D-mo and Dekker.
Dekker can not play the 4. Forget about it. He's really not ready yet to play the 3 which is his best place on the court. There's definitely a lot to be optimistic about his future but he's not there yet. Far from it.
D-mo as pretty much the only post up guy on the team can prove to be something the team will desperately need when the game slows down and the shots won't come in from deep.
We really need to sign him

You know I was probably the biggest Chandler fan on the board, but I think Dekker is going to be better than Chandler on offense. Chandler was really good on defense his first two seasons, so I don't know if Dekker has that ability, especially with MDA running the show.

Dekker has been looking good to me so far. Very impressed with some of his back cuts and his hands (IE being to catch and finish all in one motion). He seems like he has a real good feel for the game.

If you had some real time to waste, go back and find all the comments from last season that said Dekker sucks, Dekker's a bust, Morey was kicked in the head before the 2015 draft and went with Dekker, etc etc. Should take you awhile.

Now that he's healthy (fingers crossed, grabbing four-leaf clover and rabbit's foot), I hope he can find his way into the rotation.
