Still not 100% coming off that ACL surgery but he still gets a decent amount of separation. Another concern is that he's reverting back to old Jordy with the hands problems again.
What's the problem with Aaron Rodgers? His body language on the field is bad and his exuberant joy of playing the game seems gone. He no longer smiles all the time. Something is wrong with him and it doesn't seem to be physical.
I am talking about the cowboys. QB really can help an O line. The broncos when they had tebow they had a ton of sacks. Peyton comes in and they have one of the lowest sack totals in the league.
Second time Rodgers crapping the bed when they honor Favre at halftime On a serious note, IMO, the whole situation is overblown because a lot of pundits see average stats, which causes them to focus in on a couple of bad decisions (that last INT was just a poor misread though) and throws. A lot of the problems on offense are due to scheme and personnel. You can blame McCarthy and Thompson for that. There's simply not enough talent on the receiving corps and the playcalling is dreadful ever since they blew that game to Seattle. Just look how many times they pitch to Lacy 5 yards in the backfield and hand it off to Cobb or how Adams is constantly featured in the offense. They haven't had an average TE since Finley. You can elevate an offense like Rodgers does, but you can't turn poor players into great players all the time either. My biggest hope is that Montgomery breaks out. Rodgers doesn't trust the receivers outside Nelson/Cobb, so if he can play himself into WR3, the offense would have a huge boost.
How many times does GOAT need to hit his receivers in the hands? Must be frustrating. Montgomery is probably frustrated with his sorry qb. but ty is a beast.
He's making some mistakes I've never seen him make, but yes, the playcalling is not helping at all. Long gone are the days of the GB offense where they spread them out and throw quick passes. WRs rarely get separation on their own, but they don't run pick plays so it's Rodgers throwing into tight windows more often than not. Rodgers has struggled and needs to play better, but anyone that watches this team would be so frustrated at the scheme. Not a huge fan of making an in-season coaching change, but McCarthy is running out of time. TT is too loyal to his guys though and I can't blame him because of the success, but sometimes you have to know when to make a change.
