I'm hoping Bama-Vols is a slobber-knocker. I need the Tide to be a little tenderized for their matchup with the Aggies in a couple of weeks.
Louisville was up 17-14 with 2 min left and missed a FG, but Duke committed a roughing the kicker penalty, leading to a Louisville TD to seal the win. Duke had a great chance to have a major upset. Oh yeah, Louisville was 34.5 point favorites and Duke was +9000 on the ML to win the game. Brutal.
4th & 22 and had them stopped. Louisville missed the FG before the penalty bailed them out. Looked more like running into the kicker instead of roughing.
If you hit the plant leg, it's always roughing because of the danger involved. If you hit the kicking leg and just spin the guy around, it's often just running into.
Clemson wins in OT. They made this as hard on themselves as possible. Yes, you can mention the Louisville game, but I can't remember a team impaling themselves so much and still prevailing. Props to NC State's defense. They are some of the meanest, angry, nastiest hitters in CFB.
Brian Kelly is almost certainly gone after losing at home to a weak Stanford team without McCaffery. Pitiful. I love it!
