So, let me get this straight- where there's Bill Clinton smoke, there's a million-acre forest fire (who is not even running for Pres), but where there's Donald Trump smoke, there's a butt of a nearly extinguished cigarette?

Part of your user name is indeed accurate- you are going to be forever legendary for your monomaniacal support of the most colossal failure in the history of American politics. Enjoy.

You've decided to invest emotionally in politics at a time when your faction supports the least qualified and most behaviorally unbalanced candidate in modern history, and now you're lashing out emotionally since your bizarre bet didn't pay off.

Well if what he did is true... The women probably felt like they were helpless, because here's this millionaire and who's going to believe me.... Also they knew this man had the money to get top lawyers to defend him...

I'm not saying all this is true, but I can see why the women never said anything....

Or, "Wall? HA! Like I was ever serious about that! Why would I build a wall? I need those people to work in my casinos."

Alternative theory, he is a clownish online troll more similar to the 400 pound hacker sittting on his bed in (borderline obese) Donald Trump's dreams.

I doubt it. Trump threatens lawsuits all the time, and hardly ever follows through. It's all bluster and lies just like the idea that he doesn't settle lawsuits against him, which he also claims. I can't believe anyone actually trusts the guy.

The reporter from People has a similar story as well. So now we have beauty pageant contestants, reporters, women on a plane, and Donald Trump himself all saying he does these things.

But we also have Donald Trump saying he doesn't do these things. We know that he's already settled one lawsuit against him for sexual harassment.

We don't know if some, none, or all of the new cases against him are true. But like with Bill Cosby, there is little doubt that more people will step forward with accusations. And after all we have Donald Trump claiming that he does do these things (before he said he doesn't).

I am getting a Bill Cosby vibe. Just like with Cosby, aggrieved women will feel like the climate is finally favorable to make the accusation they were always afraid to make. So far, we've only got creeper stuff -- groping, leering, and peeping. I wonder if we'll start getting rape accusations come out.

@RocketsLegend, is there something manufactured about this scandal, conveniently timed for right before the election? I think there may be, a bit. Supposedly, journalists just happened to have found that Access audio a little while ago, though I kinda suspect people knew about it for awhile and timed the release for October, and in response to Trump's stated intention to dredge up Bill's sex scandals after the first debate. The timing was a little too perfect to be serendipity. But all is fair in love and war. Trump really did say those things to Bush, and to Howard Stern. We have the recorded evidence. We know he has cheated on his first wife, at least. His current wife is textbook trophy wife. Given his known behavior with women and the many misogynist things he has said to incriminate himself, accusations from others about unwanted sexual advances have a lot of robustness and credibility. Really, the best you can do to rationalize a way to support Trump is to say his history is irrelevant to doing the job of President. I don't think that's true at all, but whatever.

And I really don't feel at all sorry for him and his stupid campaign. He brought this totally upon himself. He could have gone his whole life groping women with impunity if he didn't run for president. Everyone knows the electorate will pry into every cranny of your life if you apply for the top job. He should have known from the get-go that every unflattering thing about him -- unethical business deals, circumventions of the law, bad relationships, everything -- would come out. If I knew I had so many skeletons in my closet, I wouldn't even consider running (as it is, my only skeleton is the impolitic things I've said on this bbs). It's insane the lack of self-awareness he seems to have.

As I'd posted before, when do we hit the bargaining stage of the Trump grief cycle? We're right in the middle of "anger" now.

Trump's a scumbag we've known that since forever. We don't need NYT propaganda articles telling us this 4 weeks before the election, or do we....

I find it hilarious that Clinton and her followers constatly complain about Russia influencing the election but have no issues with internal influencing disguised as "news." American news media would make NK Great Leader proud.

Nah.. We kinda need to know if a presidential candidate rapes women. If allegations come up, the onus is on journalists to cover it.

You seem like a naive idealist. Yes, campaigns try to smooth talk the media. All campaigns do it. It's a free market. The media can decide whether they want to air it or not. You seem to have basic misunderstanding of what a free market media platform looks like vs actual state owned media such as what is in North Korea where the state owns the media top-down.

There you go. The choice is between a groper and a rape-enabler. This is truly the decision that America deserves. For all those who did NOT vote for either one of these clowns (in the primary), I suggest you write-in your primary candidate (where write-in is allowed).

I just find it so odd that a spouse who will always have the natural instinctive reaction to defend their family's honor is now a 'rape-enabler'. Really? All the millions of women who had harsh things to say about their husband's accusers/mistresses are 'rape-enablers'? Really? Can you for once put yourself in her shoes and understand that she has a daughter and that MAYBE JUST MAYBE she doesn't want her only ****ing daughter to live with the notion that her father that raised her is a rapist? Is it that hard to believe that a wife will have an instinctive reaction to defend her family? It's amazing how much mental gymnastics there is to paint Hillary Clinton as a 'rape-enabler'. How many times have you heard the parents of a convicted murderer still defend their children? In the perspective of Hillary's eyes, these women are trying to ruin her family life. It is completely within reason for her to defend her family especially when the accusers who actually are crying 'rape' have severe holes in their stories, have been acknowledged to have BEEN PAID SIX FIGURES to come forth, and have recanted their claims in court. Yes, Hillary Clinton, will instinctively talk **** because that's what angry spouses of home wreckers do and no that doesn't make the ****ing 'rape-enablers'.

I decided a long time ago to withhold my vote from Hillary Clinton because of her attempts to hide information from the voting public. It's a little political punishment (mostly abstract, seeing as the Texas Electoral College votes will all go to Trump, regardless) to make sure that actions done in bad faith in government office don't go on with complete impunity. But, I have to question myself every time I see one of these false equivalency 3rd party arguments. There is nothing equivalent about Clinton and Trump. As far as bad actors go, Clinton isn't even in the same league as Trump. Not even the same sport. Clinton looks like an angel next to him.

I have no doubt that Trump didn't molest women but I have a hard time believing these women. One, they are almost smiling when telling the story and two, Trump seems to have a higher standard then these women. They look more like Hillary types than Trump types. So I'm going to have to see a pic of the person around said incident or I'm going to write this off as D crackpots trying to help out Hillary.

I'm still not voting for Trump though. Way too much baggage with his super rich, crackpot grandpa attitude, Even if he didn't have all that, I don't like his tax plans. And I'm not voting for Hillary either so looks like I'm just here for the ride the next 4 years...
