    Well remember when Dwight was out and Dmo averaged something like 20/10/5 with 10 box out rebounds and was often triple teamed?

    yeah, I like DMo but I don't remember either...

    Rockets can make the playoffs even if their defense is horrible. Defense matters more in the playoffs. Ryno does defend in the post good and he tries.

    I would be absolutely shocked if this Rockets team was top 14 defensively. More likely to be #1 offensively than #14 defensively.

    Was not a fan of the MDA hire when it went down. I even told a couple of buddies (in my disgust for the team performance last year and the MDA hire) that I wouldn't watch until MDA was gone.

    Well that didn't last and I've seen pieces of some of their games...so far I like what I see. Maybe MDA isn't going to be the travesty that I assumed he'd be.

    I would like to find a spot for him in the 15 preferably at the end of the bench. What Morey needs to do is a many for one deal and package some of these guys (Dekker, Brewer etc) for an upgrade at the 3. That would solidify our rotation and create room for a future potential like Wiltjer

    Was also a bit skeptical at first but then I thought about the last two teams that MDA had coached. Both the Knicks and the Lakers had star players that were score-first type of players and also lacked the necessary weapons to succeed. MDA's system was just a bad fit for both teams.
    Based from what I am seeing now this preseason, the Rockets and MDA are a good match.

    I liked the defensive effort and especially the communication. Seems like it was an emphasis point for today's game.
    However we're playing against scrubs so can't really tick that as a non issue.
    Kinda disappointed on the lack of movement on the offensive side, ye there's cuts but still a bit too stagnant when Harden holds the ball imo
