Hoping DMo signs soon so he can take Harrell's minutes.

MDA did want to get a starting PG and play Harden off the ball. And that is going to resurface.

I know you are hyped up by two meaningless pre-season games. Of course you probably got hyped up after every game Terrence threw up a double double too.

But it doesn't change what's going to happen here. This team has improved it's shooting. But it's defense and turnover issues are even worse than last season. That will come to light later.....or sooner. You will see MDA flip back to wanting a true PG. Until then enjoy the wave while it lasts.

    But don't forget my signature.

I will guess of the top of my head Milos Teodosic, Bogdan Bogdanovic,(not even sure if that is right but I never said deals would be 4 or more years, max in the NBA is 5) and I already said Sergio Lull. You should have asked me in a non Olympic year, I really would not have known. The contract length wasn't my main point. I think that he could get a contract done but that he would be a minimum 2 years deal. I think DMo could be a core player in the Euro League and Euro teams feel that as well. But do you think they are going to do him a favor and let him play for one year and be gone? DMo has no bargaining power here in the States or in Europe. My other point is production he is not a championship producer even in the Euro league and again if he is why would a Professional Team let him 1 and done them. If he is a Championship producer I'm keeping you as long as I can up front. Get my point.

Anything is possible, the end of the world could be tomorrow. But I'm pretty confident that MDA is happy with his choice of Harden as his PG and nothing will change that this season. He may want Harden to have less turnovers, and I'm sure he will address that. But if Harden can average 12 assists as MDA thinks, and as it looks possible in this offense, I think MDA is committed to this decision for this season. Time will prove one of right and one of us WRONG.

He will not average 12 assists. Around 9 or a little over.

No more guarantees from you. Focus on the Romney re-election campaign.

Of course 100% they would sign him for a 1 year deal and it's not a favour. If DMO can help you get the championship or cup trophy for one year you sign him.
He's neither a developing young player where you want to sign him for a multiple year contract to rip the benefits of a buyout or his prime, nor a star.

However right now every good team has a full roster. The leagues have already started their seasons. So I at least will be shocked to see anyone offering him such a big $ deal.

James Harden is one of the most "efficient" and most "creative" playmakers in the league and that's not in question in any circles. And it's not based on two preseason games, it's based on his career. Your signature is ridiculous, 'holic. I mean, even for you.

No. He's not. Great player. Great scorer. Good playmaker secondary to his scoring. But simply not efficient enough and not creative enough in distributing the basketball to win a championship in that role. He'll finally have to accept playing alongside a superior handle and distributor before he wins anything. Watch and see. Your buddy knows this too even if he won't admit it right now.

Can you kids take Holic's lack of respect for Harden to another thread so when those of us looking into the DMO thread don't have to read 30 posts of banter telling Holic he's wrong? I would rather read 30 posts of Banter telling DD he is wrong about DMO in the DMO thread. When Harden is leading the league in assists, he can apologize in his new "Harden Sucks" thread.

@Mav-Hater - I am not wrong on DMo - I am 100% right - we are just going to have to wait.

And ironically, basketballholic says the same thing. "I am not wrong. We are just going to have to wait."
