Leslie Alexander thinks the Texans are a poorly ran organization. :D

Leslie Alexander also wishes he could sucker the Rockets fan base like Bob does Texans fans.

Leslie can't really talk when he just pulled a McNairesque year of panic by firing McHale 10 games in, hiring D'Antoni to be the "Phoenix of Texas" and overpaying Ryan Anderson.

Also, Leslie needs to fix the uniforms, get rid of everyone trying to rip us off at the stadium, improve the food, and fire Clyde. Also he should instruct his ticket reps to stop trying to screw ticket holders.

McNair would never fire a coach 2 games in! Applaud Leslie for correcting his mistake. :)

Only Les is stupid enough to fire a coach that soon after a season starts rather than before the season. Texans fans are lucky to have Bob McNair as an owner, but sadly, a lot of them are too foolish to realize that he's a good owner. An example of an actual bad owner is in Indianapolis.

We're all day-to-day, looking in the mirror & working to get better.

Next up at QB: Shane Lechler

Coach, why would you put your punter in at QB?

"Sometimes it's good to change things up."
    :)o_O:rolleyes::confused:;)

This is why I hate when we lose a game in this fashion. Everybody hits the panic button and start typing out these emotional comments.

Yup, any loss is cause for a full blown meltdown.

They've played six games in 2016; their point differential - despite being 3-3 over that stretch - is -52. They have losses of 30-0, 27-0 and 31-13. Two of their three victories are against the Bears (7-14 since '15) and Titans (5-16 since '15).

This is not a knee-jerk, panic button reaction. As I mentioned earlier, in the past 12 months, they've trailed or lost games 42-0, 41-0, 27-6, 30-0, 27-0, 31-6.

That's six of 19 - or ~32% of their games in which they have been blown out by at least three touchdowns, including four shutouts. I argued last week that this isn't the BCS and style points shouldn't count - but this team has more in common with teams picking at the top of the draft than they do playoff teams. They are virtually non-competitive against playoff teams, often embarrassingly so ,in the BOB era.

That Miami game last year is really what turned me against B'OB. And that type of game is just getting increasingly common.

I feel we'll see that against Denver, Green bay, Raiders and Bengals

That point differential (-52) is right in line with their 2-14 season in '13 (-152; -9.5/game).

There was a lot of chatter about BOB losing this locker room last year, between the QB situation and getting drilled in near successive weeks (ATL and MIA). I wonder if he's worn out his welcome. I can't believe a veteran of WIlfork's ilk is quietly sitting on the sidelines as he watches his team routinely get out coached. This season very much feels like it's hanging in the balance here. Colts are always tough and then at Denver. Going to be fortunate to be 4-3 in two weeks.

I stopped reading when I saw you included last years playoff loss. New year, new season, new team (seriously, like 5-6 new guys starting on offense) and one of our "useless wins against lesser teams" was that same team. Just stop.

I see what you are saying, just keep it to this season, the losses have been bad enough for you to make your point without mentioning last season. Or if you must, then up until the NE game, we led the league in consecutive regular season wins and had a top 5 Defense.. but whatever.

Yeah, there was a lot of talk about a "college football" environment.

Yeah but it's same coaching staff... And *that's* why it's troubling. They (presumably) upgraded their talent and they're still getting their doors blown off.

Their wins came against the Luck-less Colts, Jags, Titans (x2) and Bears.

I understand your frustrations. But we also have to factor in what's going on with the offensive line. The catalyst of the team is all screwed up. Without a good offensive line this team will not be successful.

When you take away the most productive defensive lineman in the NFL. Your defense will suffer big time.

Now some will view this as an excuse but come on let's be real. This is too much for any team to overcome.

But guess what if they continue to beat up on the scrubs, lol they will still make the playoffs. And you and I know anything is possible around that time.

anyone who isn't at least moderately worried will never be worried and is likely very content with the SOT status quo. this is NOT a good football team currently. and the steady regression from brock is definitely a concern.

good team do not regularly get their doors blown off by any and every good opponent. beating other good teams is what good teams do. unfortunately for us, not only do we not do that, we routinely get our asses handed to us.

It doesnt matter if its 100% new players on the roster...it's the way the coaches game plan and prepare for games. Last year, this year, next year...doesnt matter. The coaching regime is consistently getting out coached when we play better teams.

This is exactly why I said this past week that 3-1 is a pointless record when you look at context. This team is mediocre...they'll figure out a way to beat the bottom feeders, but they get destroyed by the legit teams. That's about as average as you can get. We have our own Jeff Fisher, unless OB starts getting his **** together.
