I was ok with Ben Jones leaving, especially since we drafted Martin.

But Brooks is a beast, borderline elite and great in the run game

Allen (his cheaper replacement) was really good last year but doesn't seem to be keeping it up

They are both now key players in very good OLs in Philly and Tenn

Patriots and Vikings may be the two best teams in the league this season.

Same old talk from O'Brien and Osweiler. We get it, it's your fault for sucking. If you can't fix it it doesn't matter.

It's REALLY getting annoying hearing this every other week. I mean, if it is always your fault, then maybe someone else should be doing the job.

O'Brien said he isn't concerned about being employed.

Coogs lose (heavily favored and playoff chances dashed)
    Texans lose (embarrassingly, again)
    Rangers lose (sweep)
Cows win (and look good going forward)

That's plenty to take for a great baseball outcome.

What I take issue with is their overall philosophy of having their defense carry the lion's share of the load in order to cover for the inadequacies of the offense. While that may have been a viable approach when JJ was out there disrupting opposing offenses, the loss of Watt now renders that approach moot. And anyone who is expecting Clowney to pick up the slack is going to be waiting for quite a while. In order for them to even have a chance, you're asking the defense to "hold" the opposing team to under 20 points and that's a tall order without their best defensive player. Also, after getting exposed by the Pats, I'm seeing other teams employ the same strategy the Pats used against them. Their season rests on their being able to somehow flip the script and that means finding some way to generate something offensively. If BoB was as good at coaching as he was with reciting his patented "I have to coach better" excuse, this team would be in a much better place.

You're right. I was wrong... Why even watch football anymore. Fire everyone, sell the team, all is lost.
My take on similarities between this game and the Bengals last year was still accurate, just the result was different. But I don't feel like being negative about it like everyone else. It doesn't help anything to whine about it. Let's beat the colts, I hate the colts.
