Worst debate I have ever seen.

I think it was a complete waste of time - I think Trump managed to get Hillary to come down to his level - and that is a mistake. However, I think his attacking was winning points - and she was forced to jump her strategy to stick to the issues to answer back, she should have just said - he is lying check HillaryCLinton.com - and stick to policy.

To me it was pretty much a tie.

How?? They pulled out of Iraq. So you are saying disregard Bush's agreement? Stay there for 15 years, perhaps 20 years after refusing that agreement?

There is supposedly some type of solution the U.S. was supposed to make in the past, now, or in the future. I sure didn't hear one from Trump or Clinton.

Perhaps you have some type of intricate plan. Or can specify what Obama and the rest of his military advisors should have done.

Resident Paste eater huh? Not very kind of you Donny. I stay out of politics mostly - and folks may disagree with my Rox takes - however, my sheep skins on the wall are just fine, thank you.

Again, read what I just stated. If you get/buy a gun, regardless of the means and it crosses state lines, a background check is required. If you are a private seller (not a dealer), you are not required to run a background check if its a same state sale, regardless of the means of advertisement. (Federal law). Its not a loophole.

One thing that stands out to me is that Clinton is such a steady character in the face of such lies and accusations and attempts at bullying. She is really showing her
I think Trump pretty much set and controlled the tone of the debate. He doesn't want to discuss policy. He doesn't have any. He just wants an insult game.

But I think the idea of that as a "winning" strategy just plays to a a base that he isn't at risk of losing, anyway.

I also think should should have just called him a liar and linked people to her site. She also could have cited the Politifact stats that show most of the things Trump says are lies. And then just stick to policy.

Well Trump said he would jail his political opponent. So he sounded like a banana dictator. Trump couldn't answer a question. He didn't help anyone who wanted him to show the country he could be a statesman.

Hillary didn't have squat to say. She treated this debate like she wasn't going to do anything and let Trump hang himself. So in the end she didn't do anything. So she tried to look above the mud slinging but ended up looking unengaged.

His sniffing was again strange but he stuck with his game plan.

So Why would anyone purchase possibly thousands of guns through legitimate channels, when you could do so through online channels without a background check. Hence the term loophole.

    Dense, thick, obtuse.

I don't think she could have beaten anyone else they put up, I am no fan of hers, I am voting for her, and hoping we get a better choice in 4 years.

The moderators or Trump wins the most interruption count award with a total of "I lost count".

Other than that, this debate hasn't really swayed one way or the other. Pretty much jibber jabber with a couple zingers thrown in.

Are you not understanding??? You can NOT buy a gun online from a seller in a different state w/out going through a background check. Its a felony to sell a gun across state lines w/out a back ground check, regardless if its online, telephone, or a catalog. You can not even give an immediate family member a gun w/out a background check if they live across state lines. If a gun transfer crosses a state line, a background check is required. No Ifs, Ands or Buts.

On in-state transfers (sales or gifts), ONLY dealers are required to run background checks. If you are not a dealer and you are selling in-state, you are not required to run a background check. Period. There is no loophole. That is the law. It doesn't matter how the transaction takes place, whether its in person, gun show or online. Regardless, it is illegal to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon.

    Now quit being ignorant.

It is a loophole, may not be a federally illegal loophole, it's still a dirty cheap NRA b*stard way of getting around the laws intent.
