I doubt it. He offended the one demographic it's not okay to offend. White women. You can call Mexicans rapists and drug dealers, you can make fun of war heroes, deride the troops as not tough enough, make fun of handicapped reporters, propose to spy on mosques and propose religious tests for immigration, claim that a judge's heritage makes him unqualified to hear cases, claim black people live in hell, claim the President of the United States isn't a citizen in some weirdo racist conspiratorial rant, and on and on and on. And then he made stupid comments about sexualizing some married white chick and... he was done.
You buy them some oak and they'll let you lay the pipe if you know what I mean.... I seriously can't believe the Republicans picked this moron as their champion.
Probably saw internal polling that made it clear that the Trump campaign's chances of winning were hopeless. Dismissing bad news from the "Main Stream Media" is one thing, but bad news from your own polling is hard to ignore. That's my impression, anyway. In the very unlikely scenario that Trump knocks it out of the park, watch for Christie squirming and wiggling his way back into Trump's "good graces."
she would never do it, but it would be hilarious if when they go to shake hands hillary instead puts her hands over her crotch.
Trump will no longer have any good graces. He will be a shell of his former self. At one time, the Trump name did have some clout. I would not be surprised to see clients and customers and business partners abandon the Trump name after this election. Christie has no need for Trump anymore.
Trump doesn't understand women at all. All he has to do is be regretful and ask for real forgiveness while showing emotion. Nope he was to come out looking like a fighter. His ego has to win out. Now he's gonna go after the the victim of a cheating husband? Yeah that will get women to like you. Hillary played this chump like a cat does a dead mouse.
Seriously. Trump has self admitted PROUDLY to sexual assault and his defense to that is "Hillary was angry at her husband's accusers just like most women on this planet would be also". How many women out there have been cheated on? How many of those women felt some anger towards their husband's mistresses? Do you think Trump's message of "but Hillary said mean things to her husband's accusers" is going to fly with them?
As a non-Trump fan I think he said the right words to keep his loyal voter base excited with the same rhetoric he's been campaigning on but I don't think he helped himself any further than that.
No one is saying Trump would lose his base. His base is just as misogynist, racist and xenophobic as he is. His problem is that its still only 40% of voters. You can't win an election with 40% of the vote
