While the Minny defense is great, they lack great back-end speed, with Waynes being their fastest DB(Fuller is much faster). They stick to their assignments but Fuller can change all of that with his speed. Brock has to play like he did on the opening drive vs Tennessee for us to have a chance though.

Their offense ranks near the bottom of most categories and is nothing special except for a lack of turnovers. I'm honestly not concerned with their offense outside of Diggs.

We have a shot if Brock can go one game without turning it over. I doubt he does, but I still say this game will be closer than people think.

They make up for their lack of speed by being physical. Hopkins and Fuller should expect to get beat up.

Their offense makes very few mistakes. They don't take chances because they don't have to. They trust their defense.

It's hard to be physical with someone who has 4.3 speed, though. Fuller has the ability to get by the defense and force safeties to play 15-20 yards from the LOS. That opens things up for the underneath routes, as well as routes behind the linebackers. We have a very real shot of scoring a decent amount of points if Osweiler is accurate. He can't force the ball to Hopkins, and he definitely can't misread the coverage like he did against New England. I'd guess that it's being absolutely smashed into Osweiler's head that a clean game is a must.

On a side note, how are Minnesota's linebackers in coverage?? If CJF can beat man coverage like he did on his TD against the Titans, that will be huge for this offense.

They can Fuller hard enough at the line of scrimmage to take him off his route; and eventually he is going to get tired of getting hit all the time. I just hope the refs call it close and don't let the backs get away with a lot.

The NFC defensive player of week 1 already has a pick six. He's pretty good.

Ain't no homeruns coming from this offensive line when run blocking.

That's for sure when you have the "Big" Lamar running the rock. BOB obviously calling Miller fat.

Braxton Miller practiced today again. Looks good for him playing on Sunday. Huge.

We need more shotgun and more read option from shotgun. Stay away from 3/5 step timing routes or they will be sure fire picks against these DBs.

Anyone else get some very close KC Chiefs vibes?

Cautious QB who doesn't turn the ball over
Big TE and one fast WR
Really good defense with very aggressive DBs.

Here's to hoping we play them like 2016 and not 2015....

Well, thankfully we don't have Hoyer, so we shouldn't have that problem of playing like 2015.

As to the game, I think that Bradford is playing too well and the Texans defense is too suspect right now. Hell they allowed a season high in scoring to the damn Titans. Playing a team that has as good a defense as the Vikings means you have to keep it a low scoring affair and I'm just not sure the Texans defense is up to it.

I'm hoping for the best though.

Vikings defense is riding an 8-game steak of <20 PA, includes playoffs.

Their linebackers are possibly the best in the league. They're big, athletic, and they cause chaos.

Pretty underrated group, in my opinion.

Barr is probably a top 5 LB this season.

Kendricks didn't play all that well in their last game but has been superb so far this season.

I dunno their D is tough, and we throw too many INT's .......could be another New England type of game.

Barr was supposed to be an OLB? Then became ILB?

I get it.. We are playing one of the best teams thru week 4 on the road, no jj, loss is expected but like others said if they can keep it competitive and Brock plays a clean game in a loss , I think we can all accept that .
