I keep going back and forth on this one. It's not PPR so Edelman isn't as alluring. I feel like the Vikings, as good as they are on defense, are prone to giving up big plays to deep balls, which Fuller should excel in. I guess it's a question of do I take the sure 7-10 points of Edelman or risk a dud performance from Fuller with a small chance of him getting 20+?

PPR - stash Dixon for long-term hopes or use T. West NOW as a starter this week (or roll with Ryan Mathews or Foster)?

I'd use West as a starter now if he fits in your lineup and worry about the rest later. He certainly does over Mathews and Foster (and Dixon) this week. And I can't recommend cutting Mathews or Foster for Dixon. Mathews/Foster will have a higher %age of carries if healthy (obviously a big caveat) than Dixon might in 2-3 weeks, given that West is playing well.

Like you said, the point expectation is probably similar and the difference is in the variability. So I'd say it depends on the rest of your lineup. Do you have a lot of high floor/low ceiling guys? Then go Fuller. Have a lot of risky guys? Maybe take Edelman's sure points.

These are all awkward choices. I don't like Edleman in standard. PPR of course.

Minnesota match up to watch....Will Fuller vs Terrance Newman.

I would give Fuller the go. A guy who has scored 3TD's in 4 games going up against someone who will not be able to run with him. Based on his ridiculous drops you could argue 5 TD's at this point. Oh well.

    I like this matchup.

The other guys I have penciled in are:

    Dalton
    Devonta Freeman
    Jeremy Hill
    Antonio Brown
    Jarvis Landry
Dewayne Allen (Or other streaming TE)

My line-up is full of safe high touches guys that are not too TD dependent. Maybe I should go with a home run type player like Fuller at the flex.

I would not do it. Brady is just a QB - meh. I'm not against moving DeMarco though.

Based on your lineup, that would be my strategy. Unless I had a cupcake matchup in my league (i.e., projected 25+ point win), in which case the guaranteed points from Edelman might be fine.

Btw, I would be going with Fuller over Edelman in the majority of matchups the rest of the way, if that wasn't clear

vstexas...What do you need to improve? Who is on your team. Lets dig up a trade scenario.

I can't trade anyone until next week so I can live vicariously through you.

That's a solid team right there. I like it. I think Dalton may actually suffice as a QB1 when Eifert gets back.

Thanks. I'm 4-0 :). It's a short bench league so I've been pretty active with streaming quarterbacks, but yeah I might stick with Dalton for a while and see how he does with Eifert.

The trade offer from last week just came back in: my Blount for his Fitzgerald. I will hold off this afternoon. In the mean time I proposed the following to a different owner: Blount and Wallace for Baldwin and West. I know his team is in shambles (his RBs are West, CMike, Dwayne Washington, DeAngelo Williams, Henry, Smallwood). And to be honest, I just named West since I have Dixon, but any of those RBs would be OK with me. Hoping he sees an urgent need since he has byes and injuries.

If I can't make a deal for Baldwin, is the Fitzgerald deal good enough at this point?

Man I would do it. When Dion Lewis comes back, Blount will be a RB3 value.
Fitzgerald is getting double digit targets 3 of the 4 weeks thus far. I bet he hits that number again with a backup who will certainly rely on that number one target. Do it. One thing that is concerning for Baldwin owners moving forward is that Jimmy Graham the last few weeks has started to get an increase in red zone targets. Just something to monitor. I think Fitz is a good upgrade.

Thanks... my concern about Fitzgerald would be his declining numbers last season as the year progressed. And the more immediate concern... Palmer is out Thursday, and what impact Stanton as QB on a short week. And next week is a Bye, so it would be two weeks with no production?

I do agree I need to move Blount soon if not now. And this may be my best offer.

The guy is pretty set at RB with Johnson and Freeman. So is the guy with Jarvis Landry (McCoy and Bell). The guy with Demaryius Thomas has Demarco Murray and Mathews.

any idea of a running back I could get for randall cobb? he is rotting on my bench, and i really need a rb. I realize he's not worth a lot but a lower tier running back would be a welcome addition to my lineup

His touches have been ramping up every week, and I think Forte is hurt.

    Yes. You add that man.
