    If this forum is any indication, he didn't fool many. There were only 2-3 guys here who drank the Kool-aid. The rest of us saw Barnes for the limited player he is.

    Dude is not that good. I was cringing when some Rocket fans wanted to throw the max at this guy. He is not a #2 option. At best a #3 but more likely just a solid role player, not worthy of a max

    I think most knew he wasn't going to be a star after his first couple of years.

    Barnes looks more like Rudy Gay to me. Great tools, and his physical gifts easily fool most basketball eyes, but ultimately, poor ball handling and poor awareness in traffic will hold him back.

    When parson is healthy he can give you 17-18 points on upper 50s TS%. In today's NBA that is a max contract.
