Chronic Chafing

    Anyone else have this problem? Like never happened until a year ago and now if I don't powder the hell out of my lower regions, I'll be waddling for a week.

    It may be a fungal infection (tinea cruris aka jock itch). Have you tried lotrimin or tinactin?

    Shower nightly goes without saying...

    Then get you some under armour or BCG boxer briefs
    Wear them over underwear.

    Make sure to pull boxer briefs all the way up.
    Pull the stitching all the way to the side of your sack, both sides.

    I shower daily but don't wear tight undies. May have to. I do have spray I use whenever it happens and it goes away quick. But then boom back in a month.

    Also, if you're overweight you will have a harder time keeping the area dry during the day increasing your odds of chaffing or getting a rash.

    To diagnose this properly, it's important to understand where exactly the chafing exists. On your inner thighs? The anus? Or rather where your ball sack brushes your thighs or your gooch? Please clarify.

    Not trying to be a jerk but lose weight and switch to some athletic boxer briefs. I never really had an issue with chafing unless I was hiking for more than a few hours and it sucked. I was never fat but put on my "office 15" when I switched jobs and that is when it started. I am back at the weight I used to be and no more chafing.

    I had the same issue then lost 20lbs. No longer an issue. you should try new underwear.
