I've emailed everyone over that that I'm moving on. So disrespectful to ND to bring in a racist joker like Innes.
You do know that Josh's closest friends in Houston are probably ND and Greg don't you? He produced their show on 610 and they have always been like radio-dads to him.
LOLOLOL Innes, who recently was fired by CBS Radio station WIP in Philadelphia, apparently will be paired with his former KILT producer, Jim Mudd, on KBME. Ryan McCredden, KILT's program manager, said Thursday that Mudd is leaving KILT but had no comment or information on his next job. "I am coming home. Sports radio in Houston is about to change," Innes said in a press released issued by KBME. Houston loves Josh Innes. Josh Innes loves him some Houston. Not that I listen to sports radio.
After Josh pulled his racist **** at the last station, I distinctly remember all the shows on 790, including in the Trenches discussing what a piece of **** Josh Innes is.
Charlie has a lot of knowledge but if anyone here we to say he is entertaining, is crazy. He makes you fall asleep with his rants. He comes off very moody. Inness is trash. I'm surprised 790 went this route.
Jessh, Jim Mudd too? all those two will do is jack each other off on air and say how funny it is but they aren't gay.
790 is really about to ruin a lot for themselves with this hire. He hasn't even started and bashing Morey / Rockets already. Does he know 790 works with the ROCKETS?!
Sorry Lance and Matt, but I ♥ Radio was just removed from my phone. Miss you guys, go to another station please. This is unreal. Fat POS racist has no business on the Rockets station. Farewell.
Already listen to 790 so little I see going forward I will only be listening to Rockets wrap after the games and that is it.
I didn't know that but no matter. Bringing him back to H-Town is a slap in the face to the whole city. Houston is diverse and the people are class. Innes has no class.
I already gave up on sports radio a long time ago but this is terrible especially with Rockets season coming up. One of the only times I would ever listen to sports radio was when Charlie had Bull or Mchale on. Sad desparate move 790.
Wow. Radio can be a cruel world. Charlie was like a sports compass, he might have been boring but his takes always seemed spot on and helped you feel really in tune with whatever the topic. I'm sure he will land somewhere.
His bridge is burned at 610, right? Not really anywhere else to go is there? Is 1560 even local anymore? And paying dues to break in at ESPN (FM) is a different animal I'm assuming? He might be done in this market?
Not sure where this is in the timeline, but ND didn't seem to have a problem with Josh in this article from last year. http://www.phillymag.com/articles/josh-innes-wip-sports-radio/
Charlie was not my cup of tea but he was class. Innes is trash. Class equals fired and Trash equals hired. Fack that, I'm firing 790 from my radio.
