    I don't understand.

First game without Watt, they have two first round tackles who can neutralize a pass rush, an elite TE, and a great running team and we won.

The Titans have a good defense and we showed flashes of having a good offense to go along with a good defense.

This team is going to win ball games pending on the turnover battle.

Listening to some of you assh0l3s, you'd think that it's impossible to improve and get better after the first quarter of the season. 5 of Osweiler's 6 picks have come by trying to force it to Hopkins. He will change that, and make better decisions. The defense clearly missed J.J. yesterday (especially in the first half), but they balled in the second half. And that's not even to mention the OBVIOUS fact that they only rushed 3 or 4 on most plays to limit Mariota's ability to run. The Titans strength is on the ground, and they forced Tennessee to air it out when they needed to move the ball. I am optimistic so far with the development of the team, and I think having a 2 game lead on the rest of the division after 4 games is a God-send.

Some people are always upset for somethings, that is not good for the health. Next game would be tough, but we can figure it out tonight. The vikings could be good, but I do not think they have a good QB.

those first two scores were a breath of fresh air, and hoping we can build on that...

i feel like the offense can start fine, but tapers off.

we cannot make mistakes against minny. i think their game tonight vs the giants will really provide an outlook against how their defense fares...

i also hope that hop isn't frustrated. i cannot bare to let him walk..

Minny's defense can get after the quarterback. I feel for Brock because Newton and Clark will get whipped all game. And if Brown is back lol wow what a first game to come back to.

And just like the Rams, I'm sure everybody in the locker room is ecstatic to be 3-1, and sitting on top of the division. However, unlike the Rams, I think this team has the talent and coaching to flip that point differential on its head in a hurry.

Point differential this early on is so irrelevant.

That game helped us learn how to exploit double high safety which we will get all year having Nuk and Fuller.

    Losses are learning experiences.

This team is going to get better.

I thought Newton let his guy go right by him on more than one occasion.

The line needs more consistency. They'll be ok for several plays then just make either a stupid mistake or just get caught off-guard with a minimal base-defense rush. That can mess with an entire offense (and QB's) ability to establish a rhythm.

Hopefully Brown helps stabilize some of that.

If its 9-10 wins will that add to the optimism?

Probably not as many still won't give much credit to winning 11-12 games and actually winning a playoff game. Chances are, they're not going to be in position to get a first round bye... but they could still win that first playoff game and come up short against either NE or Denver.

I suppose if that possible outcome is enough for people to act as if the sky is falling, not sure they're ever going to fully back this team unless they're by far the #1 seed/favorite to win it all (and then that's called front-running...)

For the sad sack crew, there's nothing short of winning a SB that would get them out of their sad sack ways.....and even then they'd start back up like 2 weeks later running down next year's team and calling the SB win a fluke. It's just how they are, they can't help themselves. Hell they'll call winning the division and a playoff game "mediocre".

Winning a weak division is pretty mediocre. We won the division last year already and got embarrassed in the Playoffs. This year, the ceiling of this team looks no better than last year's team. Maybe they win one playoff game (no guarantee), but in the end they will still get demolished by an elite AFC team at some point.

Man, if we can win a playoff game and get a shot at Denver or NE in the playoffs, that would be awesome. I just want that opportunity, regardless of outcome. My goal going into this season was to be one of the top 4 teams standing in the AFC...we just need to clean up some things.

I do agree that the whole sad sack BS is "silly" but, well it still exists anyway. You would think that people don't even understand the definition of "mediocre" as often as that gets thrown around by those types. The reason I suggest that those "Texans fans" would do that is because it's happened before. There's nothing but whining and negativity from them no matter what happens. It's like being surrounded by Eeyores.

Even worse is that they think their constant negativity makes them smarter fans or more objective fans. It's just pathetic.
