Solid first look, obviously can't take away too much since they didn't even play an NBA team, but already they look a little more prepared and on the same page than their first preseason game last year.

Harden looks good and ready, should play maybe 15-20 min/game the rest of the preseason.
Capela... sigh, somehow got way worse at free throws, just hard to watch smh.
Anderson was meh, seems like he will be a streaky shooter.
Bench was solid, liked what I saw from Nene and Gordon.
Brewer didn't look like total ass, but he also looked great last preseason too so not holding my breath lol.

Hopefully that raises his value enough to trade him for a can of Pillsbury Grands biscuits and a big bottle of Mrs. Butterworth Syrup.

Gg. Still would rather have Anderson come off the bench

Would agree with the earlier post on why didn't we pick up Fredette instead of Prigioni?
Could have picked him up for a bag of chips. Would be deadly in MDA's system
He was Shark's primary scoring threat so he's going to get most of the defensive attention.
Still put up 33 pts. Some of his shots were wild at times, but that's what happens when
you are trying to play 2 on 5 with nowhere to go

Also. Can easily see Nene getting majority of PT at C
You give up 10 PPG easily just in missed FT's with Clint still putting up bricks
Hard to make up that sort of deficit each game.
Disappointed that he couldn't make ANY improvement in 6 Mos on something
that is so crucial to his overall value. We simply can't afford to have him out there.
Especially near the end of close games. We learned that last year.

    Nene's FT's? Like a boss. No comparison.
Loving the addition of Nene and subtraction of Howard

He didn't look great that's for sure. Still going for weird lay ups instead of just dunking the damn ball. Hammer it down Clint.

Man the complaint Warriors are on a mission. It's the 1st preseason game people in which we won and looked dang in the process.

Get it's a foreign team, but the Rockets look like they'll be fun to watch this season. Just glad basketball is back even if it's pre-season.
Interesting who they'll drop or trade given it was mentioned we have 19 guaranteed excluding DMo, plus Wiltjer (who is non guaranteed).
Wiltjer looks like a real good prospect - hope he sticks around. GP Jr looks alright as well.
Capella - Did I read somewhere he was shooting 2500 free throws per day over summer? If that's correct, it didn't show. But he ok otherwise.
Dekker - Meh (take or leave). KJ - I like the kid, but was a 1 trick pony last night. Ennis - Jury's out, will reserve judgement (ignoring his dodgy start). Nene - I like.
Really liking Harden's play and think this team will really suit him. But like commentators said, he would've had double figure assists every night last season if the players could hit shots. Lets just hope the players we have can do that with the additions of Anderson and Gordon.

Well, perhaps it did show, it's a well known fact that learning curve often takes a dive before going upwards, some explain it away as new neural pathways being created replacing old in nervous system and ongoing work in progress being present in the brain are causing learners first to become worse in whatever they are striving to learn before they improve.
Having said that 2500 per week -the rumors I heard, may be to too small quantity needed for improvement.
BTW You mentioned 2500 per day, so was it per day or per week?

don't base it on one pre season game, he has been practicing them and it will take time to get it consistent. If anything, it looked like he has tried to not have such an arc on them and only just missed a few

    I have seen enough.

    Mike Anthony > BJ Brewerstaff

But still, can we fire Mike Anthony already please?

It's obviously in his head, he missed a few at the beginning and it got to him, something like that doesn't just magically fix itself. Seems like he's another Dwight at the line, but even worse.
