This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

Brock sucks. Not worth the money. Would rather have Fitzpatrick on his deal than this overpaid QB.

he is trying to force it to hopkins. That's where the trouble comes in. He trying to keep D-hop happy. Needs to just let things flow naturally.

Playing like a good rookie making great and terrible plays which is amazing considering or shitty OL. I think has OL improves so will Brock. Getting W's while improving is HUGE!!

agreed. His winning throws from the first two games and today's games can't be overlooked. but people that didn't like the signing from the get go,they will just look at the stat box. I like that he keeps playing, clutch throw to strong for the 4th and inches.

the oline is a hot mess.

He's made some good throws, but all in all, he's been a below average QB. A replacement level QB would have had the Texans at 3-1 as well...I like his deep ball, but he has a lot of work to do. But, he's young and can hopefully improve moving forward.

i would have just left that question at, "I'm going to be a better teammate" instead of promising. last guy to promise the city of houston something was Tmac after Dallas in 2005.

He knew, going into today's game, that he needed to clean up the INTs...he had talked about it previously.

At least he knows it's a problem. Hopefully he can do it.

I'm sure he'll get it under control. Better protection by the O line is part of it and the other part is not throwing the ball to Nuk. Those 2 things can help eliminate the interceptions.

Brock had a sub-par game and is having a sub-par season.

It's still early, but he's currently a bust.

    Ok Skip Bayless!

The Great Peyton Manning was a pick machine and ended up becoming pretty decent.

    Patience.

The first quarter was encouraging, and what happened afterwards was a sign that he is still immature and easily rattled by the slightest adversity (in this case, it was probably his first INT that Hopkins bobbled that put the nail in the coffin for the rest of his day).

Let me put it this way: would you rather have a game manager with a definite ceiling, a guy who will take care of the ball but who you can guarantee will have no ability to put a team on his shoulders, to throw a deep ball and stretch the field, and to make winning plays during a 2-min drill; or would you prefer to have the relatively green mistake-prone youngster, the guy who throws a lot of interceptions and probably also is incapable of putting a team on his back, but can make all the throws, occasionally shows the vision to get the ball into a tight seam and will routinely challenge the opposition with a deep shot to one of his stud WR's in a favorable 1-on-1 matchup?

Because the QB's we put out on the field in 2014 and 2015 represent the first category of QB, and the guy we have now represents the second one. Both of them made/are making team-crippling mistakes. But Osweiler with his youth and his tools has the potential to grow where the others were capped out. No, it's not nice watching what's going on to the Texans for the full 60 minutes. But it has the chance to improve, where in 2014 and 2015 starting the year we already were without hope.

Maybe that means it will have to be 2017 during which time we put it all together, with a QB with a full year of experience in this system, a hopefully rejuvenated Watt, a Clowney on a contract year, and an entire offseason to fix the offensive line...but you know what? That growing process has to start some time. We sure as hell weren't going anywhere with repeated 9-7 performances on a maxed out mediocre veteran QB the way we were the past two years.

The same Fitzpatrick that threw 6 interceptions last week and 3 more today?

Expecting that particular poster to make any sense whatsoever with their hot takes is setting yourself up for failure.

Brock needs to just stop forcing passes to Hopkins and he'll be fine.

10-3 as a starter is a bust - interesting philosophy.
