Hopefully Duane Brown is back for that game because the tackles have been brutal. If he can be the Duane Brown of past, it'll go a long way to giving Brock the time he needs.

I'm a lot less worried about the offense than I am the defense. The defense just let a scrub Titans team put up 20 on them which is a season high. Sure the defense turned it on during the 2nd half, but they just can't fail to show up for entire halves of games like that. If they do their job, this game is a blowout.

As to the offense, I liked a lot of what I saw this game. The TE's got used a bit and it was always a good thing. Sure Osweiler is still trying to get the ball to Nuk for some stupid reason and it always ends badly, but hopefully he can move on from that compulsion and hit the open guys instead moving forward. Most of his interceptions, which is the #1 problem he's had thus far, is due to targeting Nuk.

What does last year have to do with anything? Stupid response.

Also, I think a big story is that so far this season Nuk has been proving to the Texans that they were right to not give him a huge extension this season. Each game where he shows he's not an elite level WR it does nothing but drive his price down. He's got a ton of talent, but he's not playing on the same level as guys like Julio Jones but that's how he wants to be paid.

My bad, Chiefs are good. The horrible TNF loss must've affected my memory. That game was worse than KC game was good.

Just one game though, and the Pats had their own disaster game this week. Can happen to any team.

Let alone a long flight to NE against the best coach of all time on short rest.

I was one of the few who didn't take that loss so hard. When you fumble twice on kickoff return, you are rarely going to come out with the W.

What are you basing Buffalo's "bad" from?

Here's a hint... it can't be this season or last.

Losses to the Jets who are not good, and the Ravens(jury is still out there as well).

    That wasn't hard.

Maybe that's the wrong way to say it.

The Texans can't seem to ever get out of their own way. Ever. This one shouldn't have been a dogfight and it was. Running game still struggling, playcall still boggling mind, defense not really playing well. But of all things, a special teams return saves the day. I don't think they would've beaten many teams today, Titans are just one of them.

Very true, if it happens to the Texans that means that they are mediocre forever and that the team should fire everyone and every player on the team is a bust. It was the same reaction that Chiefs fans had when the Texans beat them.

They lost by one score twice, and have 2 impressive wins.

Be fair, sir... Bills are decent, at minimum.

    Thank you.

Still waiting for the Texans' demolition of a good team. I only recall one in team history.

Julio Jones had 1 catch for 16 yards last week. Hopkins will be paid top dollar when his time comes...either the Texans pay him or he leaves to the many teams willing to pay him that. He's absolutely an elite wr.

If he turns things around, sure, but so far this season he's been pretty bad for an "elite WR", he's run bad routes multiple times that have led to interceptions, he's been simply out muscled for balls by DB's, he hasn't really been able to generate any kind of separation. More often than not, the worst thing Osweiler can do is try to get it to Nuk.

Maybe part of it is Nuk throwing a b**** fit about not getting paid, but as of right now, he's not the #1 passing option and he shouldn't be until he steps up his game.

So you think from 8 months ago until now, Hopkins has lost his eliteness? I'd venture to say that Brock is the issue here over anything Hopkins is doing wrong. Hopkins' job isnt to outmuscle the DB...he's never done that in his career. If the ball is put in the right place, Hopkins will out jump and outreach the DB for the ball. That hasnt changed...he can still easily do that if Brock starts doing his job. Also, we arent targeting Hopkins as much because of Fuller's presence. That's not an indictment on Hopkins...just that we have a stud on the other side of the field that needs to be fed too.

I think he's playing poorly and his poor play has made Brock look bad. I don't know why Hopkins is playing so poorly, but he just is. He's slipping while running routes, he's just running wrong routes, he's not fighting for the ball. Again, Osweiler doesn't have the same problems when he's throwing the ball to pretty much anyone else and that's an indictment of Hopkins. 4 of 6 of Osweilers picks are due to making the poor decision to try to throw to Nuk instead of looking for other options....any other option.

Chiefs win doesn't look as good. KC getting blown out on SNF.

So their 34-3 loss was no big deal then?
