Well it's past midnight eastern time now, so maybe the deadline has passed?

According to Watkins, the QO has expired and DMo didn't accept it....I really didn't expect this. Maybe he really is planning on going back overseas.

He is a good player and a better person. I almost question your fandom for feeling this way, and frankly it's disappointing.

Just for reference sake, what kinds of offers would he likely fetch overseas?

    Probably similar to the QO.

What would be hilarious is if the Rockets extend it.

What purpose would that serve? If he was going to accept the QO, he would have done so already. He's still in the same boat even if they extend. I really hope this "you'll see" scenario comes to fruition if they do extend it.

Question my fandom? Oh no, what will I do with myself. Precious much?

He seems intent on getting something longterm, which surprises me after all the back stuff. I thought for sure he wouldn't mind signing a one year to prove his health and value, because there is no question he could get 10+ a year.

I don't know, it's a pretty big deal. Good luck with that.

Maybe there is more to his back problems than we really know.
    This whole scenario is odd.
Tried to trade him and rescinded. Now we don't seem to value him.
Of course Morey seems to have all the leverage here. Sounds like DMO walked away.

Again, could it be the back? Maybe he realizes he's not 100%?
But, in that case he DEFINITELY would sign the QO and take the money.
I still don't get it. And we jettisoned Beasley.

If he regains his form he can be a serious difference maker

    Elite post scorer

    Decent 3pt shooter

    Good rim protector

    Very good passer

If he regains his form he'll get paid. The whole argument is over BJ wanting him to get paid before he regains his form and not one team in the league is willing to bet 5 million dollars on that. He should have signed the offer sheet. His agent is doing him no favors.

This list is very unofficial. Salaries aren't as public as in US.

    http://www.talkbasket.net/salaries

Salaries listed are in Euro, which means no one is making close to the USD $4.4m QO. Shved is at $3.8m. However, rumor has it that these are Net salaries (after taxes???). Not sure how true that is, but read it on Reddit, once.

    1. Alexey Shved Khimki 3,400,000
