DMo is complementary guy that works hard on the court, makes a smart decision or good pass, but he would never be dragging a team to the finals or be the player you build the team round. Be realistic guys o_O

Just going to correct the narrative that he only played good for a month, he had a good YEAR 2 seasons ago - not a month, he was the primary reason the Rockets were able to do so well with Dwight missing 41 games.

Yeah he had a great stretch of games while Dwight was out. Hurt his back wasn't usable for actual playoffs that year. Then this year pretty much hurt and Detroit thing. Came back in playoffs to hurt Curry.

If only he could have been rolled out in the WCFs that one year though... with his decent stretch of games. He could have fell over and had curry slip on his back sweat. That time it really could have changed the narrative...

Man, I need to find a company/job where work from 2 years ago I can cash in on.

I just want to parrot what DD is posting here. DMo actually won games for the Rockets in 14/15 season (games against Memphis & Minnesota come to mind). His post game was outstanding, his 3pt shooting was outstanding and his ball movement was outstanding as was his post defense. DMo had a rough start in November but by December he turned it on and was outstanding up to the point he injured his back.

Dude needs to sign the QO and get it over with...I think his agent is doing some harm.

@Jayzers_100 there is no hurry he can sign it whenever he wants. This is the business side of things. He has 4.4 in his pocket and wants more - he is using the time leverage to try to get it, Morey may give him a little or the Rockets may just wait.

I suspect in the end, the Rockets guarantee that 2nd year or DMo just signs the QO near the end of training camp.

Agree its obvious he's not a wanted commodity in the league at the moment by the other 29 GMs or if really ever outside of Stan VanGundy. He's highly valued in here from some posters as much more than a good roll player, but the NBA market says otherwise (rockets $80 million to Anderson) and I'm sure his back issues did him no favors or maybe other teams thought he only had one solid year several years ago. Personally I'd like to see the rockets resign him as he should excel under an MDA system but I can't blame DMO at his current age of 26 in trying to get the most money possible to secure his future.

Who are Dmo's agent's other players? Breh needs to drop that the dead beat and roll with a new agent.

Since the QO expires today (or Monday if the next biz day rule applies to weekend deadlines), I now get the feeling Morey won't budge for reasons of not wanting to set a precedence with future players that he negotiates with camp hold-outs.

That said, we know DMo has a multi year deal in front of him from Morey and always has. It's just not enough money.

So looks like ball is in DMo's court to take the multiyear for less $ than he hoped to get, or takes the QO one year and UFA route to more money

If he lets the QO expire this weekend, then I don't know what he's doing

Well his agent set a deadline of today for a deal, if nothing happens, we'll hear about DMo accepting the QO tomorrow and he'll probably be at camp on Monday.

If he lets the QO expire and goes back to Europe for 1 year, would that make him a UFA? Or would he still be a RFA?

Rockets can retain RFA rights for whatever free agent season he comes back to the NBA. That's what happened to Childress. They just have to QO him again.

There is a multiyear deal from Morey in front of him. And BJ/DMo have given their proposal back. But no talks for over a month. The deadline BJ is setting must be saying he wants more.

I once thought Morey would provide a counter offer to avoid the trade restrictions of a QO, but now I don't. I don't think Morey is going to budge, otherwise it will look like holding out works with him. He might think that's a worse world to live in than a QO contract, which most future players would never sign

A Nene and DMO lineup would be incredible. The passing and IQ would be fun.

I just checked, you have around 200 comments in Motiejunas X-factor thread and 50% of them are you complaining about DMo's rebounding. I guess it was blessing in disguise for you when DMo got injured, since then you have more than one argument to use when you want to **** on DMo.
