He's in his second year and is being talked about as one of the top three most improved player on the team. Simple answer.
1. One couldn't even last through camp and the other one showed up overweight. Do the math there... 2. Strong showed flashes of brilliance in the season once he worked and worked hard to get himself into game shape. 3. Strong turned it completely around during the offseason and showed up in the BEST shape he has ever been. 4. It's POT... outside of the stupidity of not having someone else pick it up for you and people with sticks up their butts, WHO THE HELL CARES? It is infinitely better that he made the mistake of getting caught with something that really should be legal than for something like domestic violence or theft for example. 5. Does role mean nothing to you? Fuller is a burner designed for playing opposite of Hopkins. His field is to stretch the field and his speed forces defenses to keep an eye on him regardless of how well he is actually catching. Miller is the only one we can say is battling Strong for real minutes and that is really more of a testament to the type of rare athlete Miller actually is.

Need him back ASAP, but doubt he'll be 100% recovering from the injury and is at the age he might start to decline anyway
They can cut him and save 7 million dollars as of this offseason. After next year, it'll be nearly 10 mil worth of savings for cutting him. He better REALLY perform when he comes back or he's gone.
Signed at $9.7 million for 2 years after this. Then he's a free agent at the age of 34. Doubt we let him go at that price.
He is a month behind typical recovery date. Texans staff is taking it slow. Saying that and knowing the severity of his injury. Maybe he needs to be cut next year and the Texans first rounder needs to be a LT.
