I know there is an old thread for this but I was not going back far enough to find it. Season 3 has kicked off and I can't decide how I feel about some of the plot developments. Fish is absolutely my least favorite character so with her being so prominent the first few episodes I'm a little disappointed in the start. I am hopeful that we may get some relief from her though for a few episodes. On the flip side though I am intrigued by the Bruce doppelganger story and also kind of want to see where the Ivy story goes. I'm hoping we get more Gordon back doing his thing and see how he handles Lee and a new relationship. Anyone else still watching this?
Yep still watching. Really annoyed that they brought Fish back. Need more of the Jerome/Joker. That guy was great.
Hard no. I stopped watching 3/4 through the the 2nd season. I can't bring myself to waste 45 minutes on this show anymore. That's saying something since I'm an obligation watcher if I get beyond the first season of a bad show. I read the show runner doesn't even care about the source material. The look of the show is fantastic and I like Alfred and the Bruce/Catwoman relationship. I even started to like crazy Barbara in the second season. Everyone really likes the Penguin. I can't ****ing stand him.
I just wanted to add that I'm very disappointed with the way they handled the Court of Owls story. I hope it's not the last we see of them this season. It was such a good story in the comics that helps fit in the Bruce doppelgänger.
Pretty much, I think it's ok overall but it does have some major faults......Jada Pinkett being the biggest one. Hopefully we've seen the last of her. Weird way to shoehorn an older and sexier version of Poison Ivy......I mean after all it's supposed to be like a 13 year old girl in the body of a mid 20s woman.....it just feels a bit icky.......
Is anyone watching this right now ? I am reading some hype online that the series is getting good. For someone who hasn't watched any episodes, do you guys think it's worth getting into ?
Its pretty bland, TBH. It could be a whole lot better. I watch it, but its the last on my list to watch.
Good question. I finished Travelers, Westworld, Man in the High Castle. My preference in that order. Im finding Netflix to have some excellent shows. If you haven't watched Stranger Things, most people seem to love that. I have Arrow, Black Sails, Black List, Blindspot, Designated Survivor, Gotham Homeland, LEthal Weapon, Flash, Vikingsand Timeless. Flash, Arrow and Gotham are my fillers. Blindspot and Blacklist fall in the middle... mainly because they've both run their course. Timeless is ok. Vikings was pretty good. Black Sails tends to be really good or really boring.
this show was awful from the start. dc is better with their animated shows for their tv projects. there's a new season of young justice.
