    Fact checking the transcript...

    Trump lied. A lot.

The most damning encounter was when they clashed over temperament and we were presented with visual proof that he does not have the temperament.

That might be true, but what kind of idiot thinks that a piss poor performances like his is going to keep momentum swing his way?

Well, I respectfully disagree. In every poll that has been posted after the debate, Clinton is seen as having won the debate. Now, that could change. But that's how it is looking right now.

I actually agree with this. Trump was a clown after the first 15 minutes. He turned the debates into a side show instead of taking Hillary on a one-on-one formal debate. He did everything he could to distract from the moderators points and turn it into a Clutchfans style D&D discussion.

?? You're not following. I referenced the first 10 minutes when Trump pounded Hillary on trade and her support of bad trade deals like TPP

Both candidates were bad tonight, with Trump being especially bad after the first 15 minutes or so. He was on the defensive way too much. Basically, the debate mostly played out the way I thought it would.

But the biggest loser tonight (aside from the American people) was Lester Holt. That dude was literally roadkill out there almost from the start of the debate.

I think this debate won't do much to help or hurt either candidate.

And you said that was when most people form their opinions, that is up for debate here. Maybe you are not following what you originally wrote.

Agreed, No matter what happened, supporters of either one of these 2 national embarrassments would support them and I doubt either of them are capable of looking good enough to really sway true moderates.

Hilary was elizabeth warren and Trump was wells fargo, lol. She hit him and hit him. And believe me I'm not a big Hilary fan, but this debate proved to me that she knows what she is doing.

That's giving Hillary far too much credit.

Hillary had a bit of a shaky beginning during the first 10-15 minutes, but then found her groove and clearly won this debate. She did an excellent job of getting under Trump's skin by speaking truth to The Donald and the real Trump was thus revealed. The man is simply unfit to be President of the United States, and Hillary Clinton? She is ready for the job.

I would like to add that I think Mr. Holt did a decent job as moderator. He allowed some leeway, letting them go back and forth at each other in a way I haven't seen in a Presidential debate in a long time, but without allowing the candidates to get "out of control" with regard to the format.

poor Donald Trump. He was such a victim. Those meanies ganged up on him. Republican moderator Holt picked on Trump.

Trump is about as good at debate as Jose Fernandez is at driving a boat.

Not a single bit mentioned about healthcare.

Apparently Trumps tax records and whether he support the Iraq war was more important.

Are you going to continue your disappointed Berniebro nitpickery in 2017 when she's dealing with Ted Cruz shutting the government for the 18th time because of Benghaziobamacareplannedparenthood or will you have moved on to other sustained grousery.
