No, more like "F you for breaking up with me" killing. Or at least that's what people are suggesting.

Yeah he killed 5 people, including a 16 year old girl and an elderly woman and a man.

He was breaking up with all 5 of them I guess.

I thought honor killings were premeditated responses when one family member "dishonors" the family name (e.g. refusing an arranged marriage, engaging in premarital sex, rape, or apostasy) @AroundTheWorld
This has all the hallmarks of a scorned lover/crime of passion.

5 people have tragically died in another senseless act of killing. He was not killing for Hillary. Why does everything have to be political to you?

What a POS. Glad they caught him. Been to that mall many times when I was stationed up there in the Navy years ago.

If this does turn out to be another islamic terror-related attack it would be the 5th in the last year. It is an interesting coincidence that 5 attacks have occurred since Trump declared his anti-Muslim immigrant position. There were 0 the year before.

LOL, that's a stretch, even for you....but I guess anything to blame someone pretending to be a Republican instead of those actually in office.

So even if you want to be that delusional with your logic, you're saying that all it takes for a muslim to become an extremist is for there to be some backlash against their beliefs?

That's how fragile they are ?

You're onto something. Muslims are back-lashing due to a presidential candidate. The media must be covering up all those Hispanic terrorist attacks for threatening to put up a wall.

Based on this logic, Bush did pretty well.

With this new ignore function, I didn't see the post, but based on the responses, I knew it must have been something really stupid. Sure enough, it was.

This is apparently a picture of him being arrested. Please note how he did not confront the cops with weapons and therefore was not shot.

So comical - I observe a pattern that is in no way statistically meaningful and acknowledge that, and you, Space Ghost, and ATW go nuts! It's revealing because this is the same type of "logic" you guys use to attack Muslims/Islam.

Cognitive Dissonance. I could tell as soon as you posted your correlation, they would have that ever so sweet cognitive dissonance slap them right on the face and not notice it at all

Here is the Merriam Webster's definition of terrorism, for reference purposes (no, dictionary definitions are not always correct, but this appears to be right):

Terrorism: the use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal

Just because this guy is from Turkey, it does not automatically follow that he is a Muslim or a terrorist. There has to be a political motive for him to be a terrorist.

This really does look like a weird set of circumstances. The guy walks into the Macy's wearing shorts and a t-shirt, kills four people, and then walks out and goes right back about his business as if this was no special day. They pick him up walking along the street later, unarmed and with no resistance.

Maybe it is terrorism, but so far it does not particularly look that way. What is the political motive here? If it turns out this guy is an Islamic jihadist, he sure isn't acting like any of the others that we have seen in recent years.

He is toying with the notion that free speech is a bad thing.

That is what scares me about Hillary Clinton supporters like himself - they believe that the first amendment is what causes terrorist attacks. Clinton made the brazen claim that Trump is a terrorist and an ISIS recruiter because ISIS has a problem with free speech (using Donald Trump soundbites in their recruitment videos). It's like blaming free speech for the "draw Muhamed contest" shooting (which happened in 2015). We don't need a candidate who wants to fight terrorism by taking away our rights.

This argument of 'free speech' narrative that you are coming from has basically generated a new narrative in the past few years that there is no such thing as despicable speech that should be publicly condemned because public condemnation turns into "Why you attacking my free speech". It's a blanket excuse for **** things said.

Yes, what does that have to do with anything I posted. I listed a ton of possible motives one of which was fanatical religious terrorism. That would include Islamic terrorism.

Do you have a reading problem, bud?
