So let's just turn the positive in this.

This is the offensive version of the "Miami" game.

This is so true. Bill Obrien isn't confident enough as a coach to outdue his mentor. He has showed us that over and over these past few years.

...They knew what was coming. After time outs...after end of quarters, the NE defense had the perfect defense alignment. It wasnt just one or two times...It happened consistently last night. 77-0 after halftime at Foxboro with a lead...that kind of number is a statistical anomaly...

We however lost the game with yet another terrible weak from special teams(3 weeks in a row). Charles James made two huge mistakes...And the rookie just played stupidly when given a chance. TWO kickoff fumbles that set up an offense inside the 20. One completely bogus PI call that really shouldnt have been... Good God this game pissed me off. They got their faces caved in every facet of the game.

The Patriots troll the NFL anytime they get. Intentionally short kicking kickoffs...allowing for violent collisions and preventing the ball to get to the 25 a majority of the time. At the beginning of the season, they look at all the rules that the NFL makes...and find ways to bend the rules to their advantage. I guarantee that many more teams will intentionally kick the ball higher and shorter this weekend.

Back to back a fluke? Rationally that makes no sense.

In the ranking of losses, NFC opponent, AFC opponent, Division opponent from least to more important. Yes it could come back to haunt them but it's not a division loss so a home playoff game is still on the table. Now it could hurt for a divisional or championship round now played on the road but we suck remember so why would you or anyone in here think we even have a chance making it that far. You can't have it both ways. Do we suck or not? If we do suck why cry about losing something that was unattainable anyway. If we don't suck then it still doesn't matter because our division does and if we don't suck we should win it.

Or maybe we don't suck but we're not elite yet in week 3 with an entirely new offense which makes us an okay team but not great. That pretty much seems to match what everyone felt before this game even happened so again this result doesn't change that. That said, it doesn't make it any less embarrassing but really this one loss means very little if we're an okay team in a bad division that has no hopes of a deep playoff run.

It was bad but I think exasperated by being the travelling team, on a relatively long trip, during a short week, after an emotional home win against a recent nemesis. That's a very tough ask and our staff did not deliver.

The truth is out there and it's not a scary boogeyman, or a curse, or some other stupid crap.

Texans all time winning % is 43% but for primetime it's only 28% for a difference of 15% . Now if you consider that primetime games are against good teams (and we've been historically below avg) and our 43% includes many games against awful divisional opponents that is more than enough to account for that 15% difference. Simply put our primetime win % is probably exactly where it should be.

    Now get a grip.

Yeah, I mean... you want to know how a rookie third-string QB beats you in his first start on a short week - turn the ball over. That'll get you every time.

All three of New England's touchdown drives started in Houston territory. Two of those drives - both post-turnovers - covered 43 yards total. Their third was just 47 yards. So three touchdown drives that, when totaled, were less than the length of a football field (90 yards).

Fans can b**** all they want about BO'B, Brock, etc. - but that's your ballgame right there. Turnovers.

Can we at least cut the next player who decides to return the ball out of the endzone?

I fully support this. Returning kicks where you could do nothing at all and get out to the 25 yard line without risking penalty is just unforgivably stupid.

Let's just consider last night a blood sacrifice at the alter of the hoodie which will bestow it's blessing upon us in future games.

Yes, only low IQ player does that, no need to keep low IQ player on the good team.

I like your style. Does that mean we will have the number 1 offense starting week 4 on?
