I was one of the most skeptical ones going into this game. I had a feeling this would happen. I'm saying we're fine because I think we're better than this showing. However, I know we aren't as good as a lot of homers on this board seem to think we are. I never thought we'd win a Super Bowl or anything this year. Takes a lot more than what we just added this off-season.
Good lord. I had to change the channel after NE scored their latest touchdown. What a dreadful showing by the Texans. New England wasn't exactly dominant tonight either...for the most part, the Texans beat themselves with stupid miscues. And Bill O'Brien's management of timeouts, etc was idiotic.
Another internet tough guy. Seriously you guys shouldn't watch or find another team to support. Why do this to yourself. Texans don't need you and it's not like you were ever there. And no one, I never did, said the rebuilt Texans are better than the Pats. I watched ST's give away 14 points. I watched a Pats O play with a lead. I watched a good D get tired. I watched a struggling offense. I watched a rookie QB and a Pats O not do much. I've seen refs make terrible calls against the Texans and ignore calls against the Pats. And a bunch other little things. But the most glaring thing I saw was two jackasses ruin any chance their team had.
Have you ever seen a organization that so consistently has epic fails on national television? You're never gonna get a better situation in New England than you had tonight and they were a complete embarrassment. Fumbles, Ints, Special Teams, poor tackling, dropped balls. Hell even the coaching staff was completely brain dead. What was up with having to have your punter remind you to challenge the spot O'brien? What was up with calling all 3 first half time outs when we had almost no chance to get the ball back? Just when you think the Texans are done disappointing....they find new ways to kill ya.
How come we never have special teams? Honestly, we would be better off putting no one on the field for kick off returns. It wouldn't change a thing
I thought it would be a close game - short week, on the road in NE, after a few days of fans and media blowing smoke up their ass, we were bound to fall a little flat. I just didn't think we'd fall off a damn cliff. The Defense wasn't the problem - S/T was a HUGE problem, and Godsey/Osweiler were absolutely awful. Terrible game plan.
Because people wont expect it? LMAO! BO'B is a joke, man.... But McNair will keep him for another 4 seasons, just because.... The reason why this team sucks year in, year out is because the OWNER has no balls and MORESO than anything else, the fans put up with that bullshit and still line his pockets regardless. Keep filling them seats, and he will keep on keeping on with the mediocrity for you and yours.
