I'm sure they'd love to beat up on us 3 more times as well.

Wow I knew the A's attendance this series was bad, but this is just horrible:

    9/19:10,072
    9/20:12,139
    9/21:11,197

Does anyone remember what the attendance numbers were like for us during our horrid stretch couple years ago?

Right, but there wasn't a choice with 3 Central teams out of 4.

    Very low number

Comparing Houston, consider the Bay Area's having more teams despite having similar population.

Day games (like today) are never going to have too many people, some people have to work, kids in school, etc...

Really hope Cleveland hasn't clinched by the time they play Detroit.

Tigers have the same qualms if they miss the playoffs. They're 2-13 vs the Indians this year.

Still a long shot for the wildcard, but the team is really putting up a commendable effort down the stretch.

They can still fight for home field advantage over the Sox or Rangers. They'll play 100% but may reset their rotation if anything.

Not sure if it was mentioned here, but MLB did award Altuve a hit on the play that was originally ruled an error on the Mariners' third baseman the other night.

    Damn, that's brutal.

Luckily for Detroit, they can boast almost complete dominance over the other city overall.

So they were saying that McHugh is 11-0 as an Astro in games pitched in September (13 starts).

    Impressive!!

Zero confidence? I have confidence in him somewhat, as I thought he caught a few bad breaks with the outfielding when he gave up a run today. He will be part of our bull pen in some fashion at the very least and I think his stuff is good enough to get chances. He had a slow start last season, then picked it up. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since we are leading our division and are playing well. Bottomline, we need him to pitch well if we are going to make significant noise.

He gave up what should have been a double at worst and possibly only a single, but Aoki butchered it into a triple. Pop up, fly out and strike out followed.

Kind of like posters responding in a thread from 2016.
