80's Action TV

I have to choose between Knight Rider, Fall Guy, Air Wolf, and MacGyver? I abstain.


No love for: Last American Hero, Hunter and Dukes of Hazzard? "Other" option needed.

 

Dude, that's a freaking hard poll. Those were all awesome. If there was an option to choose all of them, I would.

You should have a March Madness poll going if you want to determine which one was the best.

 

They all had their strong points except for Knight Rider.

But only choice had Mr. T.

 

I actually remember always being disappointed with A Team because they didn't have ENOUGH Mr. T. He was always in a supporting role and I wanted it to be The Mr. T Show.

 

I'll be honest, I'm too young for this poll (pause). I've only seen reruns of a couple of these shows, and honestly haven't heard of the others. But for the sake of it, A-Team.

 

Me too, but there was that short-lived Mr. T cartoon for a while.

Yeah I am going to have to go with Airwolf.

 

I'll go with UNIQUELY 80's choice since its too tough to choose. I think you can recreate enough some shows like A Team, Airwolf, MacGyver.

Though Magnum PI and Simon & Simon had the "grown-man appeal" in the lead characters. Those mature looking Every-Man types. Can you get a modern day Tom Selleck and follow the same Magnum formula? Viewers have gone away from that in favor of being "metro cool", like what they did with the Teen Wolf remake .. (Except for Walker, Texas Ranger, for Chuck Norris reasons)

Yeah this is kinda what I was alluding to. Its Mr freaking T, everyone's 80s sensibilities sees it, thats your show right THERE.

 

Liked all of these as a kid. But the king was Dukes of Hazzard. YEEEE-HAAWWW

 

I voted for Air Wolf, because I felt like everyone was going to vote for Knight Rider. Both are thumbs up. **** Tom Selleck, and Magnum PI.

How is Miami Vice not on here though? Failz.

I've watched none of the shows except MacGyver, it is free to stream on Amazon so I just watched a few episodes for the first time ever recently. MacGyver is a surprisingly good show with a huge range of episodes.

I wouldn't call it action despite the bombs. So I'm not sure I can call it manly.

Out of the intros, Airwolf and Knight Rider has the best music. Knight Rider wins out because helicopters are an incredibly 80's fascination.
