Interestingly enough, in both games this season the first pass has been to CJ Fiedorowicz....then they basically never go back to him

And Garropolo looks good too. I can't doubt Belichick.

If they lose this game, no sense in watching the rest of the season.

The funny thing is, IIRC we have yet to throw a deep ball on third and long. its usually on first or second down or third and short.

This is true. Element of surprise with Fuller.

i'd like more formations than running from gun'. Our best run yesterday came when the TE moved down to block for miller. The play was negated by a holding penalty. mix it up more.

on defense, jam and get an extra one past five yards. they can't throw a flag every time. Also would rather start at the 25 than bringing it out to the 15 on the kick returns.

Sure... but they did go to Anderson some on that other drive.

I also liked the easy comeback/slant routes they worked to Hopkins.

I feel like if they wanted to simplify the playbook to only quick-hitting plays and high percentage passes, they could... but they also want to test the full limits of this O-line and exploit the deep threat as much as possible.

They ran that TE motion for runs quite a bit... in fact it became so predictable that I kept waiting for them to mix it up with a play-action, but it never happened.

I'd like to see more running plays with Prosch as the lead blocker. Worked with Leach back in the day.

I liked when they went to Anderson 2x times in a row to exploit the mismatch.

It was exactly what you want to see.

Playing pitch and catch with confidence.

I thought the season was over and thus no sense in watching after the Texans signed a QB that they will never win with.

Winning without Brady/Garo does give less credence, but it's still nice credence. Texans have injuries too.... not like NE, but beating them is still doing something, especially @Gillette.

Hope our rushing offense and defense can do better.

I'd take only ONE pick from Brock right now.

Losing this game would make us look somewhat like pretenders..

Lamar excels out of the gun. Things are typically more spread out.

Jacoby Brissett is like a poor mans Big Ben/ Jameis Winston.. wouldnt be shocked if he led the pats to a win this thursday night( Bill Parcells likes him). This will be the first texans game im attending in 8 years

I will make this claim, jacoby brisett( patriots), brett hundley(packers), cardale jones( bills) all are better qb prospects than jared goff and jimmy garrapolo. Remmeber if not for tony romo getting injured we wouldnt even know about dak prescott( who's skillset is similar to a young donovan mcnabb)

This upcoming draft will be the first NFL Draft that will have 3 first round grades on african-american qbs. This qb class is miles ahead of last years. Brad Kaaya who i rate 3rd best in this upcoming class would have been the 1st overall pick last year

I don't think our line is there yet for succeeding from that formation. it probably won't be till brown is back.

still have to stick with it and like nick says, play action.

    more cowbell more play action.

    You're dreaming.

Dak is playing well. The other guys have literally shown nothing.
